I don't think this means the end of the Union but it could send a strong message to Congress and Obama that they seriously need to reverse their past policies. This is a land that is governed by the rule of law. Obama himself said it. Well the law of the land is the Constitution. Pure and simple.

New Hampshire talks Civil War against feds!
The New Hampshire state legislature took an unbelievably bold step today by introducing a resolution to declare certain actions by the federal government to completely totally void and warning that certain future acts will be viewed as a "breach of peace" with the states themselves that risks "nullifying the Constitution.
"
This act by New Hampshire is a clear warning to the federal government that they could face being stripped of their power by the States (presumably through civil war!
The remarkable document outlines with perfect clarity, some basics long forgotten. For instance, it reminds Congress "That the Constitution of the United States, having delegated to Congress a power to punish treason, counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States, piracies, and felonies committed on the high seas, and offences against the law of nations, slavery, and no other crimes whatsoever;. . . . .
therefore all acts of Congress which assume to create, define, or punish crimes, other than those so enumerated in the Constitution are altogether void, and of no force;"
Federal gun crime laws? Void. Federal drug crime laws? Void. The gazzillion other federal criminal laws that deal with anything other than the specific enumerated crimes? ALL VOID.
One would think that if any lawyer anywhere in the entire country was worth his salt, all federal criminal trials would have ended years ago. This seems to prove that most lawyers are dullards.
New Hampshire deals a complete death blow to the pending federal hate crimes legislation by pointing out "That, therefore, all acts of Congress of the United States which do abridge the freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, are not law, but are altogether void, and of no force; . . . . .
"
Later in the Resolution, New Hampshire makes clear what the feds are now risking if they proceed further: The removal of all powers from the federal government by the States!
Quoting directly from the Resolution: "That any Act by the Congress of the United States, Executive Order of the President of the United States of America or Judicial Order by the Judicatories of the United States of America which assumes a power not delegated to the government of United States of America by the Constitution for the United States of America and which serves to diminish the liberty of the any of the several States or their citizens shall constitute a nullification of the Constitution for the United States of America by the government of the United States of America.
Acts which would cause such a nullification include, but are not limited to:
I. Establishing martial law or a state of emergency within one of the States comprising the United States of America without the consent of the legislature of that State.
II. Requiring involuntary servitude, or governmental service other than a draft during a declared war, or pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.
III. Requiring involuntary servitude or governmental service of persons under the age of 18 other than pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.
IV. Surrendering any power delegated or not delegated to any corporation or foreign government.
V. Any act regarding religion; further limitations on freedom of political speech; or further limitations on freedom of the press.
VI.
Further infringements on the right to keep and bear arms including prohibitions of type or quantity of arms or ammunition; and
That should any such act of Congress become law or Executive Order or Judicial Order be put into force, all powers previously delegated to the United States of America by the Constitution for the United States shall revert to the several States individually.
"
I have reported on thisblog for quite some time that we here in the United States are heading toward Civil War. Many of you told me I was a nut for thinking that.
The simple fact is that we are long overdue for another Rebellion in this nation and I heartily endorse the idea of having one again very soon; preferably starting THIS year!
We must stop our federal government dead in its tracks because it is out of control and very dangerous. If stopping them means attacking them and destroying them by force, then so be it.

Is this the beginning of the end of the Union?

A question of epic proportions
I was given a most interesting question the other day. I had to think about it for a few days. Yes, it was a really deep question. It was a question that required lots and lots of serious thought. It is the kind of question that I am sure many people are being asked since the national election.
OK, so I didn't have to think about it for a few days. In fact it didn't even take me a full second to respond. The answer, of course, was a resounding – NO! I'm sure you are wondering what question, what single question could spark such a single word response. What kind of question would raise my ire?
It was a question of Barack Obama, our dear President-elect. Our dear messiah. (Notice the little letter “m”.)
This was the question. And you can answer it for yourself if you wish.
Would you have voted for Obama if he were a white man?
Let me restate my answer. NO! Hell no. And it has nothing to do with his skin color. It has everything to do with his ideas and beliefs.
Obama, be he black or white or yellow or red or brown, has all the wrong ideas when it comes to our nation. We are a nation of free people. We don't need nor do we want a nanny government. We don't need nor do we want government to run our lives. We don't need nor do we want government to grow so big that it hinders our ability to live on our own terms.
Obama, be he black, white, yellow, red or brown, wants government to be your answer to everything. He wants government to be the only answer to everything. He believes that only government can make things better and fair. He believes in spreading your wealth around.
No, I would not vote for Obama if he were white. I would not vote for Obama if he were yellow. I would not vote for Obama if he were red. I would not vote for Obama if he were brown. So I definitely did not vote for him, even though he is black (half black).
His plans for trickle up poverty (coined by the master radio talk show host Michael Savage) are not the plans that will ensure prosperity to our selves or our posterity. Although not a perfect system, Ronald Reagan's trickle down economics has proven to work far more successfully than any form of trickle up economics. How can the poor employ anyone? They can't. How can the poor help anyone? They can't. But a rich person can employ that poor person who then can work and train and lift himself out of the depths of poverty to join that rich man as his equal. But he must work and train for it.
Obama thinks he can get that poor man to be somewhat richer by taking from the rich man who would rather employ the poor man. This Robin Hood approach has never worked in all of history.
President-elect Obama may be a Constitutional Law Professor but he surely does not know his economic history. For if he bothered to study such things while attending Harvard, he would know that such ideas as he proposes to foist on all of us, are doomed to fail. And as such, those failed ideas will doom our nation.
No, I would not vote for Obama no matter what color his skin. I would simply not vote for the man because of his ideas. They are wrong and bad for freedom and liberty and as such they are bad for our nation and our people.

Looking upon the past is keeping us from the future
I think I am getting a little sick and tired of hearing about the glory days of the Reagan years. Yes, it is good to remember what Reagan stood for. Yes it is good to know that what Reagan did worked for our nation because it was a simple, foundational principle that he lived by.
But to wax eloquently over and over again about the Reagan era. To opine for a new Ronald is really getting on my nerves. Look the Democrats have searched and search for their new John F Kennedy.
They thought it was Clinton. But they were wrong. They searched for a new, new JFK and thought it could be Al Gore. He bombed. Then they said the guy they needed and were looking for was right under their noses all along. John Kerry. After all his name was John and they had nearly the same initials and the same full, thick head of hair. JK and JK. It was clearly meant to be. Well I guess it wasn't.
Now we are getting caught up in the same kind of ridiculous nostalgia that we used to ridicule the Democrats for. We say we want a new Reagan. Well there cannot and will not ever be another Reagan. Reagan came at a time when we needed him. OK so I am going to compare Reagan to a hero of history although he is just a legend.
King Arthur was the huge hero England needed. He came at the right time with the right ideas and the right will of mind to get things done. Reagan was the same. But his time is gone now. He is gone now. But as with both figures, their principles are still sound and solid.
So can we have another Reagan-like candidate? Well yes we can and we should. We should seek out a freedom loving, limited government thinking, Conservative principled leader who will roll up his sleeves and not bend to the mass media's will.
I hear the name Newt being bandied about much as Obama's name was bandied about a few years ago. Newt may very well have the same principles as Reagan, which is good. But is Newt really the Reagan-esque leader we are looking for?
I am not so sure. Newt has huge baggage to overcome and you can be sure that will not get a pass from the media like Obama did. You can bet the press will be all over him. From head to toe. Every little sordid detail about Newt's life will hit the air and the paper. Newt will suffer an anal exam like one has never seen before.
But there are those who believe that Newt is up for the test and that, like Reagan, his time has come. I guess you could say in that case then, that Obama is the Carter of today. In which case a similar situation is about become reality. If Obama acts like a Jimmy Carter, someone the Democrats really don't like to talk about, then yes it would all most be a shoe in for Newt.
The real issue is not if Newt is the guy. The real issue is why is Newt thought of as the guy. Its because he has those traditional conservative principles that never fail us as a nation. That is why. He is the only top name candidate with those principles that currently has expressed an interest in the job. Oh sure you have people like Ron Paul but they don't have the intestinal fortitude to be a national figure and win the White House.
That does not mean that Ron Paul cannot play a huge, important and needed roll in getting a Reagan Conservative elected. He very well can. Am I a Newt supporter? Not exactly. Not yet. Am I convinced that if we run a Reagan Conservative like Newt that we could win the White House and even Congress back? Absolutely.
Let us look and search and vet out those Reagan Conservatives. Let us bring fourth those Founding Father principles in our next candidate. Lets nurture those principles and never abandon them again. Then you will see a nation prosper and freedom will again come to parts of the world that has none and it shall be done without firing a single gun in anger. Much like Reagan defeating the Soviet Union.
Yes the 80's were the glory days of the modern Conservative movement, but it doesn't have to end there. Those days are based in principle, not fad. That means those days can be had again. And we should demand those days from our next candidate.

Messiah to BANKRUPT an entire industry
Obama has said, in his own words, that his plans would bankrupt our coal industry. It would also skyrocket our electric and energy cost.
This is just outrageous. Why is all of this stuff just coming out now? Why has all of this stuff been hidden from us? I have a theory.
The main stream media has been in the tank for Obama since before Barack even hinted at running for President. I remember some in the media talking about how clean, how articulate, how smart this guy was and they dreamed of him running for president.
He was primed and pumped by the media to run. So he did run and the media protected him from day one. They gave him cover. The media did not vet this guy out. They refused to investigate his past and his beliefs. The media even refused to release information they have that is negative about Obama.
But now some of this stuff is starting to leak out. Why is this? Not to long ago we had Charlie Rose on his PBS show interviewing Dan Rather and they were both saying they did not "know anything about him (Obama)" How is this possible?
The press is beginning to distance themselves from this guy. They now understand, too late, that this guy is dangerous. But the main stream media cannot take him out now. They would look like the idiots they really are. We have had the middle and the right and even some on the left warn us about this guy but the media did not listen.
Now some of his policy preferences are coming to light and the press is getting nervous. Not to mention some of their own have been silenced by Obama. The press is starting to run from Obama. But in order to keep their credibility (what little they have left) they cannot turn on Obama now. After all they are responsible for putting him there.
So once this guy gets into office, they could find out that they made a horrible mistake. That even their own freedom to print and report what they want could be in danger. They understand that they also have to live in this nation no matter what else happens. They will end up paying the high taxes. They will end up having to pay those sky high energy cost.
And if energy cost rise, that means less of them with jobs. Now they are on the ropes and the media is looking for a way out. They are looking for a skapegoat. But they have only themselves to blame.
Now Barack will bankrupt a major US industry. We will pay sky high energy cost. Our taxes will rocket to the stratosphere. Our economy will tank and if you think this light recession is bad, wait until we get Jimmy Carter inflation and unemployment back. Then you will know pain. And so will those in the media. In fact some are quietly saying that an Obama recession would be worse than a Carter recession.
Is this what we really what we want for our nation?
By the way, you may ask when did Obama say these things? Back in January of 2008. JANUARY 2008. And we are just now hearing about it. And you don't think the main stream media is not in the tank for Obama? You better grow up fast. You have only a few hours.
Hey, freedom is not free but it doesn't have to come at the cost of an entire industry and Americans having to pay sky high electric rates.
Think about it folks.

In his own Words Part 2 and 3 and...
Obama doesn't care about taxes. He doesn't care about government revenue. He doesn't care who he hurts. He only wants things to be "fair" so he will raise taxes no matter how much higher taxes will hurt the treasury.
He admits that tax hikes would hurt the economy. So if the economy were strong then he would hurt it by raising taxes. Now if the whole idea is to make things fair and to pay as you go, would it not make sense, using the Obama logic, to raise taxes? In the spot above, Obama says it is not about putting money in the Treasury, it is all about fairness.
Obama thinks that paying more taxes is neighborly. And he thinks that even though lower taxes brings in more money to the treasury, the rich can afford to pay more than the lower classes but that is not class war fair. Who is this guy kidding.
When it comes to national defense, Obama doesn't know what he is talking about. He shows that he is a freshman Senator. He shows that he does not understand the dangers that we as a nation faces or that he does not really care about those dangers.
I could go on and on to show you that in his own words, Obama proves himself to be ill equipped to lead our great land. He is sorely lacking in the stature to make tough decisions. He is a socialist at best and a Marxist at worst. He wants class war fair to be inflamed to a level not before seen in our nation.
Don't listen to what others say about Obama, listen to what he says. He goes against history and statistics that prove he is wrong. He is arrogant and naive to think that even the smallest of nations pose no threat to our safety and survival. He hides his true beliefs. He hides who he is. He tries to shut the opposition up. He is against the Constitution. He will punish success.
All of this and more, Obama says and proves himself with no help from anyone else. How can you or anyone else vote for such a dangerous man? I cannot and I will not. Obama does not deserve your vote. And that is the truth.
This guy is almost as cool as I am
You heard it right. This guy is almost as cool as I am. He is absolutely just as political incorrect as I am. But I have to admit, I am better looking. :) But seriously this guy should be my VP running mate. Can you imagine two Constitution loving conservative black men running our nation? Now that is a dream MLK could march all the way back from Heaven for.
http://haloscan.com/tb/martinft/1773783997286273233
There is no doubt that not all people of color believe in or support Sen Obama. In fact let me put this to rest for all of you out there. Obama is not black. He is half white and half AFRICAN. He has no slave blood in him. He is a half breed. (I can say that because I am of mixed race myself)
This man spent formative years outside of the USA. He does not have your interest at heart. He wants power. He wants to rob you of your freedom. He wants socialism. He wants to take the USA down the road of failure.
Make no mistake about it. Obama is one of the biggest mistakes the people of this nation has allowed to rise to the top of our political system.
Think, and then go vote. And vote for freedom and the Constitution of the USA.
God Bless, God Speed and God save the USA.

Correction on Post
This is the video that everyone needs to view before November 4, 2008.
This is scary for sure. But what is more scary is the fact that this guy could get elected. Do you liberty and freedom loving citizens really want that? Then get out and vote and get your friends, family and co-workers to get out there and vote and vote for McCain. He is by far the lesser of two evils.
God Bless and God SAVE America!

I need a Sledge Hammer
When are people in this country going to wake up. Seriously. It is getting to be very frustrating dealing with people who do not even understand the concept of freedom.
Sure you have the freedom to give up your freedom. But why would you do it? Sure you can blame president Bush for the stupid Patriot Act but why do you vote for others who tell you to your face they will take away your freedom and limit your choice?
Does anyone stop and think any more? Do you really understand the meaning of hypocrisy. Seriously.
I run into people all the time who are aghast that I do not support Barrack Obama. When I ask them to tell me why they are supporting him no body can tell me outside of the sound bites why they support him.
He will bring change, they say. Bill Clinton promised the same kind of change but other than redefining the meaning of sex, what change did he bring? And of that change, if there was any, did you like it? The answer is usually no they did not like the change Bill Clinton brought about.
So many people don't have health care. So I ask do you like the government telling you what to do in any aspect of your life? They usually answer no. So why then would you want the government to tell you when and where you could get your health care? They wouldn't, they admit. So why vote for someone who says he or she is going to take over the health care system? They wouldn't they say. But you will vote for Obama? Yes, they say. I want to bash my head with a hammer at this point.
Do you like being taxed, I ask. Well, no, they reply. Do you think you pay too much in taxes, I ask. Usually they reply with a resounding yes. So why would you support someone who says to your face he is going to raise your taxes? But he represents change they say. The kind of change you want then, I reply. Not exactly they say.
Where is that hammer?
You probably want out of Iraq. But should would bail out as soon as possible even if it means leaving the Iraqi people in an insecure position? Well that would not be right, they say. Oh, so the people of Iraq deserve freedom and they deserve to be able to live in peace then? Well everyone on the planet deserves to live in peace, they reply. Then taking out the troops now and ending that peace and leaving the people of Iraq to the terrorist and the evils of Iran is OK then. Well, no they respond with concern in their voice. So Obama wants to get out now and do just that, should you still support him? Well yes, they say. They use that word change again.
I need a huge hammer.
So you don't agree with Obama on taxes, health care, your freedom, the battle for Iraq yet you still support him? I am sorry but I just don't understand why you would?
Well he is so eloquent in his speech. He is good looking and he is black.
Huh?
I tell them about some of his gaffs only I lie and say George Bush said those things and they say, he is an idiot and needs to be impeached. Then I correct myself and say (and prove) that Obama said those things and they still don't believe. I tell them where they can hear him and see him say those things (57 states) and they still think he is a brilliant man.
How can you say he is brilliant when you just said George Bush is an idiot for saying the same thing even thought GW didn't actually say those things? Um is their response.
Obama is only half black and he is half white and his father was not a slave descendant. I am part black and I am descended from slaves. Would I be a better president? No, they reply, you are not a democrat.
OK, I know have a sledge hammer.
Are we really this dumb as a nation?
I think one good whack with an 8lb sledge will put me out of my misery.

A few ramblings about this and that and the otherthing
Did we the people miss something here? How is it a guy can remain in office and still do everything wrong and illegal. I am talking about Kwame Kilpatrik the mayor of the fallen city of Detroit, MI.
Are we to believe he can get away with what he does simply because he is black and a Democrat? If this were a white Republican, we would be hearing for his lynching by now. This guy would not still be mayor and he probably would not be running around free on bail and/or bond.
If it were you or me, we would absolutely be locked up. Read the story for yourself:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080807/ap_on_re_us/detroit_mayor_charges
It seems that this election is actually the season for flip flopping. Good grief, both candidates are flopping more than a fish our of water. Can we get some real leadership here? Can we get people who actually stand by what they say?
How are we, the American people, going to know who to vote for if these guys can't even stay the course on what they believe? Is it too much to ask that people actually stand for something and then stand by what they stand for?
This is just the tip of the ice burg with these two...and of course one is worse than the other but I will let you be the judge of that:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20080806/pl_politico/12329
Can we take some personal responsibility here in this country? Why is it that when someone points to us, the individual, as being the one who needs to take care of our own business, that person is the one who gets ramrodded with vile and hate?
People in this country and in any other country, are in a financial pickle because of themselves for the most part. It is not President Bush's fault that people can't afford their mortgage. It is not my responsibility to bail someone out because they paid too much for their home.
By the same token, Mr. Obama cannot and should not bail anyone out of their own financial mess. If you are poor and broke in the United States of America, it is your own fault. Pure and simple. Otherwise, how do you explain how so many who are not born here, come here and get rich? They depend on themselves, not the government. They learn how to manage their own money and they take responsibility for themselves.
It is shameful to see how people lambaste this blogger for telling the truth.
http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/SavingandDebt/SaveMoney/NoFreeRidesThisMeansYou.aspx
Freedom is not free nor is it for the stupid or timid. It is for those who are brave, who take responsibility for their actions. It is for those who know that to live any other way is not living at all. It is for those who recognize that millions have fought and died over the centuries to protect freedom. To live any other way would be a great dishonor to those who served, fought and died. Think about it.

What Barry and his kind really want from big oil and the American people
How interesting this is. Recently, Obama was making fun of McCain for making fun of him about the people of America saving gas by inflating their tires.
First of all, are you serious, Mr. Obama? I think the tire pressure thing has been so en grained in our collective psyche that it would be a safe bet to say that at least 90% of the American public know that properly inflated tires saves gas, gives you better handling and extends the life of your tires. But to state this as a potential plank on the energy platform is bordering on the ridiculous.
Where are the solid planks on energy from you and your camp? I have not seen anything relevant unless you are mimicking what the Republicans have been saying. But then the very next day you flop and tell us that drilling is not going to solve our problems today.
Mr. Obama, the liberals have had a “don't drill in our country at all” policy for decades and we now see where that policy has lead. We are paying record prices at the gas pumps while backwards countries in South America and Africa pay under a buck a gallon. How is that possible?
True those nations' governments subsidize their oil industries heavily. So is that where you are going to take us Mr. Obama? You wish to do a Hugo (and I don't mean the hurricane although the effects would be far more devastating) and nationalize our oil industry?
And for crying out loud, can someone please tell me what a “windfall profit” is. Who is to say that 11 billion dollars is too much for a company to make. Doesn't the federal government and all the state governments make far more on a gallon of gas than the oil companies? Why yes they do. Doesn't the fed and the states tax the income of the companies, large and small, that deal in oil? Why yes they do.
So should not the fed and the states give back to the American people what they took because they, the government has windfall tax profits? After all, none of the governments involved have ever risked a dime to explore for oil. None of them have paid to lay the infrastructure that now gives us our pipelines.
Oh sure, they may have given tax breaks every now and again...but that is what they were. Nothing but a reduction in the taxes that those companies already had to pay. How is that signify that the government “paid” for anything. It is our money to begin with.
And with todays technology and the fact that just about every other oil producing nation on the planet is going after oil reserves even in areas where US companies cannot change your mind? Of course not. You view the big oil companies, which are small compared to the oil companies around the world, as evil. You think that even if they made nothing, that they were still cheating the American people.
It is you and your ilk, Mr. Obama who are cheating the American people. Why don't you tell the people of this great nation just what you have in mind for us as far as your energy policy would go? You would not dare because the American people would reject it outright.
The American people deserve more than rhetoric, Mr. Obama. And those goes for Mr. McCain as well. We need real answers. Yes alternatives are a good start but you and I and the rest of America know that any viable alternative will not be fully integrated for at least two decades if not longer.
So why is it OK to pursue technologies that will not pay off today but not drill for our own oil that will obviously not pay off today? Because in both cases, we will be a much stronger nation tomorrow.
But all you wish to do is pit the “rich” against the rest of us. You pit the rest of us against the “poor”. And you wish to tax the hell out of the very people who make this nation great. And you know I am not just talking about income tax. Any tax you levy against an oil company for “excessive” profits will only get passed on to the American consumer. It is just another money grab for bigger government.
Come on Mr. Obama and Mr. McCain. Come clean and tell the American people what you really want to do to us. I promise you that 90% of us will not stand for it.

Hope is a four letter word. Those with hope are cheated.
It is now April. Spring is really in the air for many of us across this great nation. The political process is still in full swing. But this year, this political season, there is something different in the air.
There is a pollen that has not been seen in a very long time.
It is the pollen of Democrat Liberal choice. Yes, thats right. There is still no clear winner for the Democrat nomination for President of the United States of America. The race is still very close, although many believe it is nearly impossible for Hillary Clinton to pull off a victory without the Super Delegate vote. But that is a whole other issue for another post.
Right now, Barack is baking himself to death with all the controversy that surrounds him with his Pastor form Illinois. Plus the fact that more and more information is coming out about his very Liberal voting record in both the Illinois state senate and in Washington, DC as a US Senator from the state of IL.
Plus so many other things that are really too numerous to mention in one post. So I will not delve into those issues. However, with that said, we now see that the new media has caught the attention of our Presidential Candidates and it looks like this new media will not let go of them.
The latest is Clinton on the Ellen show. Clinton talked about how she would see that gays in our country get more of a fair shake than they are getting now. And of course Ellen ate it up. But if you listen, read or watch, you will notice that Hillary did not go into detail about anything and she stopped short of saying total equality such as gay marriage across the nation.
But people will buy into anything as long as it is packaged right. Maybe that is the “Hope” that Obama keeps talking about. Ellen and people like her hope so much that the people they support will do what they say they will do. They don't ever ask for details. They accept the sound bites as gospel and run with it all the way to the polling booth.
Then when reality sinks in, usually after the person they supported gets into office, they still shrug it off and then blame someone else. For example, the “Don't ask, don't tell” military policy is usually blamed on the current President Bush. Forget the fact that it was their hero, Bill Clinton, that implemented that policy. Hey, as Commander in Chief, it would have been very easy for him to order the military to let gays serve openly.
But Bill never promised he would do that. In fact he is also the President that signed the Defense of Marriage Act. The same law that his wife now says she would throw out. Doesn't make sense but then the Liberal just eats up her words and HOPES that what she says is true.
Hope has gotten this country into a lot of trouble. Hope has been the reason for a lot of our liberties being curtailed or eliminated. Hope in and of itself is not evil but those who pander to people while using hope are evil.
You have to watch out when any politician use Hope as a tool to get elected. Hope is not an empty slogan. It is something real and genuine and should not be bantered about.
Then again maybe Hillary is just taking the advice of the many pundits out there. She has to be seen by the public as being approachable and likable. How else do you do it in todays world? You go on talk shows. Although we most likely will not see Hillary on the Oprah show, she has been given some top advice by some top talk show experts. They are telling her how to be more human and more likable.
Is that something we as a nation are ready for? A likable Hillary Clinton. I guess it is something that the left is really Hoping for.

Support Obama because he is Black. Not this Black man
I get asked a lot who I support during this primary season. When I say, “no way in hell will I ever vote for Hillary” everyone assumes that I am for Obama. Of course I have to correct them.
They usually say something to the effect that since I am a Black man I should be supporting Obama. Now let me say this and I hope I make myself very clear. I don't give a damn about Barack Obama's skin color. Hell, I am not just a Black man myself. I am of mixed heritage. But I do identify with being Black. Thus I am known as the coolest, most politically incorrect conservative Black man on the planet.
I don't support anyone because they are a particular color or they belong to a particular group and I hope to God that you don't either. It makes no sense.
I don't support Obama because he is an empty suite. He has no substance. When you go looking for his record while he was in the Illinois state senate you find he really doesn't have one. He did nothing outstanding. He probably avoided voting on issues as much as he voted at all. He really didn't stand for anything then and he sure as hell doesn't really stand for anything now.
Oh sure Obama can give a great speech. But we also know that he has plagiarized (read as stolen) speeches and phrases from others including the sitting Governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick. But Obama is great to listen to. I just want to know more about what he believes.
You could say I am playing the race card. The anti-race card. I don't give a damn about race. I think it would be great to have a Black president. I think it would be great to have a female president. I think it would be great to have an Asian president. It would even be great to have a legally blind president. But I would not vote for anyone because they were one or more of the above.
They need to have the qualifications to do the job. They need to have ideas and beliefs that are similar to my own. They have to believe in something. Something. Obama doesn't seem to believe in anything. At least he doesn't believe enough to have some deep thought and reason. There is no substance to what he says.
Yes we can. OK. Yes we can what? Keep hope alive. What hope? Hope for what? I want to know exactly what you mean by that. I hear a lot about keeping hope alive or that we can do what we need to do to keep hope alive. I don't know what that means.
What is the hope we are trying to keep alive? If it has to do with opportunity, then we live in the land of opportunity. If it is so one can provide for their family, then we live in a land where that is possible to do more easily than just about anywhere else on the planet.
The worst part about Obama is that he never goes into great detail about what his plans are. He never tells you in great detail how he would accomplish his goals and dreams. And of course he never tells us how much those goals and dreams of his will cost each and every one of us.
So I don't support Obama not because he is Black. I would not support him because he is Black. I would only support him based on his ideas. Frankly if you listen and read all about this man you will see he has only shallow ideas and he believes the same old Liberal mantra that every other Liberal believes.
The rich are evil, the government is savior to the world. Sorry, but if that is what he believes, then even if I would support him because of his skin color, I could not because of those beliefs. And neither should you.

And the Polls Have it by a Nose, or a Football field.
The fight between Clinton and Obama is getting fierce. Not to mention POLLerising. We have a poll for everything in this campaign. On BuzzDash, there is a poll that ask the question “do you believe Clinton to be hypocritical to want Obama for a VP running mate?” So far that poll is yes 75% and no 25%. What happened to the obligatory undecided? There are always people who don't have an opinion or are just too stupid to try to think up an opinion. But we don't have that category in this poll.
Here is another one: “Does hiring illegal immigrants reflect badly on political candidates?” And still more: “Which candidate would make the best president?” And this one: “Will most Democrats vote for whomever gets the nomination?” Of course you can jump right over to BuzzDash to see the results of these polls and more stupid polls, but not until you finish reading this blog.
Of course there are polls for asking if Americans still believe in the mainstream media. The answer is that 2/3 of Americans think that the media is out of touch with reality basically. Yes, people are getting their news from the Internet and other alternate sources, just like this blog. Maybe the alternate sources are just more credible.
Then we have the poll about President Bush's approval rating. About 1/3 of the country believes Bush is still doing a good job. Before you think that is low, check out what those same Americans think about the Democrat controlled congress. It is far worse that President Bush. About 1/5 of Americans think that Congress is doing at least a good job. Think about that. Nearly 80% of the population, give or take a few percentage points, thinks Congress sucks. I don't think President Bush ever got numbers that low and for such a sustained period of time.
But you don't hear about that poll in the mainstream media. I wonder why. Could it be that is why only 1/3 of the people think the media is doing a good job? Hey, look at that. The media has the same approval rating as the President. If the medial thinks the President is doing a terrible job with an approval rating that low, should they not say the same thing about themselves?
Of course there are web sites that put together polls from other sources and then averages them out. One such site is Real Clear Politics. The only problem with this kind of site is that it makes things more confusing. Some polls have far different results from other polls when asking the same question. So is averaging these polls the way to go?
Then of course you have one of the Big Daddy's of polls. Gallup. In one Gallup poll they have Obama leading Clinton 49 to 44% but in another poll you have nearly 60% of Clinton supporters wanting a “dream ticket” of Clinton/Obama. Of course they want Hillary on top of the ticket. Well, 52% of Obama supporters don't want any part of a dream ticket and say the vote battle should keep going to the very end.
But here is the Average Thing again. 51% of Democrats polled say they should settle for a joint ticket. Now I am trying to figure out how they came up with that. Did these people not give an accurate answer to the first question? My head spins when trying to figure out all these polls.
In reality, the only poll that counts is the final tally on election night. But then again, lots of people pay attention to these polls and let their vote be influenced by these polls. But if so many don't trust the mainstream media, then who is it they can have such influence with polls? Did anyone do a poll on that?

My Colors Don't Run.
Today Barack Obama continues his winning streak in the Democrat Primary. Hillary Clinton, of course, still touts her supposed 35 years of service that makes her the only Democrat ready to lead on day one in the White House.
I am still trying to figure out what she has done all those 35 years. All I hear for her is that she wants to take away our freedoms when she gets into office. All I hear is how she wants to take care of all of us. The problem with taking care of us is she and her other Democrat friends will have to pounce on the Constitution.
Thrashing the Constitution is not limited to Democrats. Republicans have done it as well. In fact we have a front runner on the Republican side that was a co sponsor of a bill that became law that limits our freedom of speech. It's called the McCain Fiengold bill. It limits most Americans free speech when it comes to elections.
They argued that money is not equal to free speech. The real reason for this law is to limit opposition close to an election. This is not the American way. Not by the standards of the US Constitution.
Let me be very clear. I do not believe any of the major candidates have yours or my best interest in their minds. Oh they may say they do but its all in their actions, not what they give lip service to. How can you say you are for freedom and choice when you want to take over a major part of every Americans life?
How can you say you are for freedom when you are for making laws that limit choice and attack the very freedoms that are written within the Constitution? You can't. Look around you. Do you honestly believe that limiting your freedoms is better for you and your family and business? Of course not.
We have more laws on our books than ever before. We have laws that contradict some other laws. We have laws that are so confusing that it is nearly impossible for prosecutors and judges to adjudicate them. We have laws that fly directly in the face of the Constitution limiting the every day freedoms of the average American.
Lets face it, we have been the frog in the pot far too long. It is time we jump out of this pot and reclaim what is rightfully ours. The Constitution guarantees us our freedom. The courts are supposed to make sure of this and the executive offices of the states and the federal level are supposed to make sure those rights are safe and enforced.
I love my country. Let me repeat that. I love the United States of America. No it is not a perfect country. It does not have a perfect history. With my heritage, I know how imperfect it has been and how imperfect it still is. However, after visiting and/or living in other nations on this globe, I can tell you there is no other place as nice or free.
But it seems Americans are eager to elect those people who are more than happy to strip them of their basic rights. This I just do not understand. I would fight and die willingly to protect and preserve what our Founding Fathers fought so hard to give me and my heirs. I will support anyone who will truly support the Constitution of the United States. I will fight to defend the rights of all of those who disagree with me for that very reason that differences of opinion have helped make our country so great.
But what I cannot stand by and let happen is a bunch of politicians stomp on the graves of our Founding Fathers and strip the Constitution bare. Oh the carnivores are feasting on the American people rights and the American people keep serving them up with bear to wash it all down.
But not this American. Not this Constitution loving American. You should not let your rights be taken away. You should demand that the rights you have lost be returned and you can do that by voting for those who stand up for the Constitution. And for those of you who support him, I do not believe in him. I am talking about Ron Paul. He is not the right person at the right time for a number of reasons that really belong in another post.
Just think about what I have said. Take an hour or so and read the Constitution. It is YOUR Constitution. It belongs to all of us and you should know what you are giving up when you vote for those who say they want to “help and take care of you” because in the end, they only help and take care of themselves at your expense.
When you vote, vote for the Constitution of the United States of America. Never, never, never let your colors run. Mine don't and never will.

Clinton Machine Crashes
It looks like the Clinton Machine is crashing and burning. Hillary has loaned her campaign 5 million dollars. She has fired her campaign manager. She is conceding certain states to Obama in order to concentrate on states with more delegates.
Clinton is also pissed. This is the woman whom every one had anointed the next President of the USA. But then came along a challenger whom she dismissed at first. But no matter what she did, this skinny upstart from the state of IL would not go away.
In fact he pushed forward and even began winning. This was not supposed to happen. Hillary was o the ropes. She was so badly bruised that she even tried to cry on national TV. That ploy backfired. She tried putting forth a more "human" side. Nobody believed it. Many Americans view her still as an Ice Queen.
The big test was last week when most political pundits, up until the last minute, kept saying it was going to be a decisive victory for Clinton. It was not. In fact Obama made inroads. Obama built more momentum. Obama began looking like he could and would win the nomination.
Hillary brought out her husband Bill who tried to hammer on Obama. It didn't work. Hillary brought out her daughter, Chelsea, to try and woo the young and college vote. It didn't work either.
What will Hillary try and do now? Her negatives are still nearly twice that of President Bush even though some polls suggest that if the election were today she would edge out Republican McCain. This is highly unlikely since McCain has far lower negative numbers than Hillary.
What we will see is Hillary getting nasty. What we will see is the Clinton machine trying to get back in gear and try and tear Obama a new one. There is already some evidence of this. Clinton is hinting that Obama is taking money from lobbyist and giving them breaks and perks. As if the Clintons' are not the masters of paying off their lobbyist friends.

Sunday Brief 2 10 2008
Barack is on a roll or is he? It looks like Obama swept the 5 state primary/caucus yesterday. But did he really make gains on Hillary on the delegate count? Yes and no. There were not a whole lot of delegates up for grabs but since the two Democrats are nearly even in the count, every single delegate is going to count.
Next big steps will be in the states of Texas, Ohio and PA. But can Obama pick up those states? Can he win? Some polls suggest that if Obama were the Democrat nominee, that he would beat McCain.
Other polls suggest that Obama's lack of being specific about anything will hurt him in the general election because he has a very small record to lean back on. McCain has a huge record and that record seems to harm him when it comes to conservatives. But this is where Obama will have a tough time as well.
He will need to get specific about his plans. Inspiring and pretty speeches will not cut it when you have an opponent who presses you for specifics. Obama has not had to deal with that yet. Clinton won't press Obama on specifics for fear of having to give greater details on her own plans.
The who strategy here is, less is more for now. These Democrats are afraid to let you know there specific plans. Why? Remember a decade ago when Hillary was trying to get Hillary-care passed? Americans got the details and said no with a loud and deep voice.
She and Obama know that if they get specific on their plans, the American people will run away again. This is where a good strong Republican can win. McCain, despite his own liberal record, can win over conservatives and independents simply by getting Hillary and Barack to get specific about their plans and policies. Until that happens, we will have more flowery speeches and rallies by the two Democrats. there won't be anything relevant.

The wealthiest 1%, in 2003, earned 14% of the income and paid 35% of all individual income taxes.
-
By comparison, the bottom 60% of all taxpayers earn 28% of all income and pay just 1% of all individual income taxes.
Many people who earn under $36,$15per year do so in an industry that caters to those who earn more than $150,000 per year. These high earners buy stuff. They buy lots of stuff. They get services. They get lots of services. So people who sell or service the high earners depend on those high earners to spend that money. If they don't have as much money because of higher taxes then those people who depend on them will suffer and they will suffer big time.
How do you keep the economy going strong? Simple, you first cut the taxes on the people who have the money to spend. Then you cut the taxes on every other economic group that pays taxes. When people have money to spend, they will spend it and those people on the lower end of the economic ladder will benefit and will not need government services as much or at all.
Now do the Democrats really want to help the "less fortunate" or do they just want to pay lip service? You be the judge.

Waterboarding continues to be a hot topic on the political landscape. The UN (and we all know how reputable and fair the UN is) says that waterboarding is torture and needs to be halted in the USA.
The media has been focusing on this issue for months as well. Obviously, the media in general is against waterboarding. Why? Simply because it works without harming the individual being questioned. But many Americans, if you ask them, will tell you they are against waterboarding. Ask those same Americans if they know exactly what it is and they cannot tell you except they heard it was something bad.
I'm here to tell you that I have found out what this form of interrogation is and found it to not be torture at all. Interrogation is nothing but a mind game anyway and waterbording is a form of a mind game. If it gets people to talk and it does not physically harm another the person being interrogated, then it should be used.
Waterboarding, if done properly is a good, none lethal, non harmful way to extract information from an individual. And waterboarding has been proven to be far less harmful mentally than other forms of interrogation such as sensory deprivation.

So what now?
Romney is out. He bowed out with a lot of grace and style. I must admit I am a little disappointed in his withdrawal but it was no surprise. You see, in my view, Romney is just showing his true side. He is a guy of integrity and grace and style.
Some people say he is weak. If you saw his fight with Ted Kennedy back in 1992 when he ran for US Senate in MA, then you know this guy is not a coward. It was a nasty and hard fought campaign.
His run for the Governors office was not a pick-nick either. This guy is down for the fight when he wants to be. This guy does not back away from a challenge. But this time I think he was genuine when he said that it (this race) was not about him. He said it was about the GOP and the future of our nation.
I cannot say the same for Huckabee. This guy knows he cannot win the nomination but he stayed in simply because he knew he could hurt Romney and he did. So you could say Romney was not strong enough to fight the tag team of McCain/Huckabee.
No matter. Romney reminds us that we, as a party, need to put our foot forward and remember our conservative roots. We have to be united in order to beat back the liberals run for the White House.
I will be watching the Democrat race with much anticipation. In any even, history will be made this year. It would be ashame to miss history in the making.
By the way, even though I would not vote for him, I am pulling for Obama. Not because he is a black man, but because I can't stand Hillary. Its just that simple.
So that is what is next, watching the Democrats. They are a sneaky bunch.
Racist and Ignorant people Vote Democrat
Why Blacks should not support Democrats.
Blacks should not the Democrat Party in general. No minority group should support the Democrat Party in general. If you have read my comments anywhere on the web, here, Fool.com, ArgueWithEveryone, and many other boards and forums then you know I have no love for the Democrat Party in general.
History has shown us just how racist and bigoted the Democrat Party was and to an extent, still is. The Democrats believe that minorities, especially blacks, cannot make it in life without their help. The dirty little secret is that the Democrats are the reason that minorities have a harder than normal time making it.
Democrats have shown through out history to hate blacks and minorities. They have passed laws upholding segregation, poll taxes and much, much more. Democrats have shown through out history to be the major forces behind denying legislation that would give blacks and other minorities and equal voice in public discourse.
Civil Rights took so long to pass mainly because Democrats blocked its passage for decades before the 1960's. Indeed, the Democrat Party is the home of the KKK and slavery. This is documented fact and they cannot spin it any other way.
The Democrat Party had more members sitting in Congress who where also members of the KKK than any other party including the Republican Party. Republicans have been the ones to advance civil liberty. Republicans have been the one who went to war to right a terrible wrong that was known as slavery.
As blacks succeed and join the ranks of the middle class and the upper class, you will notice that they tend to register and vote Republican. They specifically vote conservative. Republicans believe in the human spirit. Republicans believe that each individual has and equal opportunity to shine and become successful in any en devour they choose so long as government gets out of their way.
Democrats want to continue destroying urban minority families with their welfare policies and other public policies. They keep our schools in the inner city a mess. After all they are the ones who control most schools. Democrats are the largest block against vouchers or any kind of school choice.
A Democrat founded Planned Parent Hood and its original goal was to “control the minority population”. Democrats have promised much to help minorities and inner cities and have delivered little if anything. Democrats are the ones who gave us “Don't ask, don't tell” in the military yet they blame the Republicans for it. A Democrat signed the “Defense of Marriage Act” but blame the Republicans for this law.
No, I will not vote for or support a party that has proven itself to be corrupt and racist. Shame on any minority that supports such a group. Including Obama. Why do we assist in our own destruction? I want the Democrats to come up with honest policy that truly is fair and colorblind. Until then, this cool Black man will remain conservative and most likely vote Republican. You should to if you are or like minorities.

Health Care Inovation Can Solve Crisis
What is wrong with our health care system? To be short, nothing. What is the downfall of our health care system? To be short, government.
Why do I say that? Because government has pretty much eliminated any way for the average person to develop new systems and profit by it. The insurance industry as a whole, is the most regulated industry in our country. Within that industry is the health care and health insurance industry, which is probably the most regulated part of the insurance industry.
Look at it this way. The government gives your employer (not you) a huge deduction for providing health care coverage for you. But only health care. Your employer wont get incentives to offer you car insurance. Your employer wont get government incentives to provide you with legal insurance. In fact you employer wont get government incentives for providing you with most benefits. The only one is health insurance.
By regulation, the government has also made it nearly impossible for the average person to shop around and get health insurance coverage on their own. You don't have the opportunity to shop around for health care coverage like you do auto insurance. You can get great deals on home owner or even renters insurance but you cant get deals on health care coverage of the same magnitude.
Government also makes innovation nearly impossible in health care coverage. Not just anyone can start a health care company. Not just anyone can innovate health care and bring it to market. Lets take a look at legal insurance.
I do not endorse or recommend any of the companies I may mention in this article nor do I have a direct financial stake in these companies.
Pre-paid legal is a Multi-Level Marketing company that provides a sort of legal insurance plan. You can join the company or just purchase the plan from a company member and you will be covered for many legal matters, some of which there is no additional out of pocket cost. Sort of like an HMO for the legal set.
This type of company could never exist in our country with todays laws and regulations. You could not have a true MLM company providing health care coverage. Say what you will about the MLM industry but it has revolutionized many industries in our nation and is responsible for billions of dollars in sales annually.
Take a franchise system. You can franchise just about anything in our country except health insurance. You already know that franchises in our country are hugely successful. They account for about one third of our total GNP. Sure there are some form of franchised health care companies like Health Stop but those are not like a McDonald's or a Rust Check. You have to be a medical professional to have one and they are not insurance plans.
Of course there are all kinds of discount programs out there. Even an MLM version is available. It is called AmeriPlan. But it is not insurance.
You can franchise a real estate company, even though everyone involved needs to be licensed to sell real estate. You can MLM personal financial advise as with Primarica even though all participants who actually sell the stuff have to get financial licenses. You can franchise insurance companies themselves such as State Farm but again you must be licensed.
So if we can franchise other industries that require a license then why can we not franchise, MLM or otherwise open up the health insurance industry so that innovation and competition take hold. So that the American people will have a true choice about their health care. Why do we not have the freedom to chose our health care like we do with just about every other aspect of our life?
The simple answer is government. Get the government out of it and you will see innovation, improved services, lower cost and more people able to afford to access the system. Now that was easy.

The Real Democrat
I often get asked why it is that I so hate liberals and Democrats. First of all, I don't hate anybody. Liberals are the ones who hate. Now, I can dislike a person. I can hate what they stand for. I can hate what they do. But I do not hate them.
Secondly, I am part Native American and part African American (thats Indian and Black to those of you in the south) and lets face it for the most part, the white man has not been very kind to my people. So if there is anyone who could hate another group of people, I guess I could hate whites. But then I would be hating part of myself because I'm also part French and Irish.
That leads me to my next point. In this country, unless you or your family came here within the last 50 years or so, it is very likely that you are a self contained United Nations yourself. Very few of us are "pure breads". Most of us have a mix of ethnicity within our veins. Many of you could have Black in you or Indian in you and not even know it. So in truth when you hate someone because of their skin color or their features, you just might be hating yourself.
Now that leads me to why I don't like liberals or Democrats. It is also why I am totaly amazed at the support that so many groups give Democrats. Especially Hillary Clinton and John Edwards. Now you must know that Native Americans in general do not vote. Why? Because they distrust all white men and for good reason. Just look at their history with the white man. Not good at all.
Which leads me to ask why do Blacks and Homosexuals support Democrats so much. Lets face it folks, who was in charge of the South when slavery was alive and well? Democrats. Who instituted the "don't ask, don't tell" policy in the military? Democrats. Who pushed and signed for the defense of marriage act? Democrats. Who created the welfare state and destroyed minority families and left a total mess in the inner city? Democrats. Who controls our education system that is falling apart? Democrats. And most importantly for Blacks, which party had the most KKK members in it before Civil Rights? Democrats. And finally, who was it that stood in the way of Civil Rights the most especially in the South? Democrats.
So why should I support Democrats? They have not given me any reason to do so. They have shown me by their actions that they look down upon me and my people. They have shown me that they still feel superior to me and my people. The constantly act to keep me and my people down but try and disguise it as help. No, I do not like Liberals and Democrats. I do not like them in hats. I would not like them near me. I would not like them to take care of me. I do not like them at all. For a Democrat in the White House is the begining of my fall.
Stumble It!
