Obama doesn't care about taxes. He doesn't care about government revenue. He doesn't care who he hurts. He only wants things to be "fair" so he will raise taxes no matter how much higher taxes will hurt the treasury.
He admits that tax hikes would hurt the economy. So if the economy were strong then he would hurt it by raising taxes. Now if the whole idea is to make things fair and to pay as you go, would it not make sense, using the Obama logic, to raise taxes? In the spot above, Obama says it is not about putting money in the Treasury, it is all about fairness.
Obama thinks that paying more taxes is neighborly. And he thinks that even though lower taxes brings in more money to the treasury, the rich can afford to pay more than the lower classes but that is not class war fair. Who is this guy kidding.
When it comes to national defense, Obama doesn't know what he is talking about. He shows that he is a freshman Senator. He shows that he does not understand the dangers that we as a nation faces or that he does not really care about those dangers.
I could go on and on to show you that in his own words, Obama proves himself to be ill equipped to lead our great land. He is sorely lacking in the stature to make tough decisions. He is a socialist at best and a Marxist at worst. He wants class war fair to be inflamed to a level not before seen in our nation.
Don't listen to what others say about Obama, listen to what he says. He goes against history and statistics that prove he is wrong. He is arrogant and naive to think that even the smallest of nations pose no threat to our safety and survival. He hides his true beliefs. He hides who he is. He tries to shut the opposition up. He is against the Constitution. He will punish success.
All of this and more, Obama says and proves himself with no help from anyone else. How can you or anyone else vote for such a dangerous man? I cannot and I will not. Obama does not deserve your vote. And that is the truth.

Correction on Post
This is the video that everyone needs to view before November 4, 2008.
This is scary for sure. But what is more scary is the fact that this guy could get elected. Do you liberty and freedom loving citizens really want that? Then get out and vote and get your friends, family and co-workers to get out there and vote and vote for McCain. He is by far the lesser of two evils.
God Bless and God SAVE America!

What Barry and his kind really want from big oil and the American people
How interesting this is. Recently, Obama was making fun of McCain for making fun of him about the people of America saving gas by inflating their tires.
First of all, are you serious, Mr. Obama? I think the tire pressure thing has been so en grained in our collective psyche that it would be a safe bet to say that at least 90% of the American public know that properly inflated tires saves gas, gives you better handling and extends the life of your tires. But to state this as a potential plank on the energy platform is bordering on the ridiculous.
Where are the solid planks on energy from you and your camp? I have not seen anything relevant unless you are mimicking what the Republicans have been saying. But then the very next day you flop and tell us that drilling is not going to solve our problems today.
Mr. Obama, the liberals have had a “don't drill in our country at all” policy for decades and we now see where that policy has lead. We are paying record prices at the gas pumps while backwards countries in South America and Africa pay under a buck a gallon. How is that possible?
True those nations' governments subsidize their oil industries heavily. So is that where you are going to take us Mr. Obama? You wish to do a Hugo (and I don't mean the hurricane although the effects would be far more devastating) and nationalize our oil industry?
And for crying out loud, can someone please tell me what a “windfall profit” is. Who is to say that 11 billion dollars is too much for a company to make. Doesn't the federal government and all the state governments make far more on a gallon of gas than the oil companies? Why yes they do. Doesn't the fed and the states tax the income of the companies, large and small, that deal in oil? Why yes they do.
So should not the fed and the states give back to the American people what they took because they, the government has windfall tax profits? After all, none of the governments involved have ever risked a dime to explore for oil. None of them have paid to lay the infrastructure that now gives us our pipelines.
Oh sure, they may have given tax breaks every now and again...but that is what they were. Nothing but a reduction in the taxes that those companies already had to pay. How is that signify that the government “paid” for anything. It is our money to begin with.
And with todays technology and the fact that just about every other oil producing nation on the planet is going after oil reserves even in areas where US companies cannot change your mind? Of course not. You view the big oil companies, which are small compared to the oil companies around the world, as evil. You think that even if they made nothing, that they were still cheating the American people.
It is you and your ilk, Mr. Obama who are cheating the American people. Why don't you tell the people of this great nation just what you have in mind for us as far as your energy policy would go? You would not dare because the American people would reject it outright.
The American people deserve more than rhetoric, Mr. Obama. And those goes for Mr. McCain as well. We need real answers. Yes alternatives are a good start but you and I and the rest of America know that any viable alternative will not be fully integrated for at least two decades if not longer.
So why is it OK to pursue technologies that will not pay off today but not drill for our own oil that will obviously not pay off today? Because in both cases, we will be a much stronger nation tomorrow.
But all you wish to do is pit the “rich” against the rest of us. You pit the rest of us against the “poor”. And you wish to tax the hell out of the very people who make this nation great. And you know I am not just talking about income tax. Any tax you levy against an oil company for “excessive” profits will only get passed on to the American consumer. It is just another money grab for bigger government.
Come on Mr. Obama and Mr. McCain. Come clean and tell the American people what you really want to do to us. I promise you that 90% of us will not stand for it.

The Devil is in the Details
There was a movie that was released back in 1997. It has as much relevance today as it did back then. Actually, it was a movie that was probably at least a decade overdue. It started Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino. The name of this movie? Devil's Advocate.
Now why is this movie so relevant today? Because it is a movie about lawyers. Yes, I know all the jokes about lawyers. I even wanted to be one of those blood sucking parasites at one point in my life. I went to school for law and order. I took the requisite business law, criminal justice and criminal law. I even took international law 101. Plus I dabbled in Constitutional law.
All well and good, you say but what does a fictional movie out of Hollywood have to do with today and what does it have to do with liberty and freedom? Well, man's law dictates everything you do in your life. Lawyers make the laws. Lawyers interpret the law. Lawyers bend the law to fit their need in and out of court. Lawyers can make a seemingly very clear and concise law murky and even twist it to mean something it was never intended to mean.
Lets take the First Amendment of the Constitution for an example. We have freedom of speech and a free press. Not according to McCain/Feingold. It says that money is not equal to free speech even if you need money in order to express your right to free speech. This law limits your ability to freely express your opinions and thoughts when it concerns elections and those running for office.
How about the “Separation of Church and State.” Many Americans do not know that those words do NOT appear anywhere in the Constitution. However, some lawyers decided that they could twist the actual words that are written in the Constitution to mean something it was not intended to mean. These lawyers successfully twisted the Constitution to mean that there cannot be any connection between religion and our government.
This was clearly not the case nor the intent of our Founding Fathers. If you read any of their letters, decrees and the Constitution itself you would know the Founding Fathers did not intend for the total separation of church and state. They only intended that there be no national or formal government religion or church such as there was and is in England. You know England, its the country that our Founding Fathers saw fit to separate from through the American Revolution.
In the movie “Devils Advocate” Al Pacino plays the devil, Satan, who runs a very powerful international law firm based in New York City. First of all, if he truly wanted to be at the center of sin, would he not have based his firm in Las Vegas? Well, no. New York is the hub of the business world. Just about every major law firm in the world is either based there or they have a major presence in that city. The Devil (Pacino) also known as Mr. Milton, has a few very memorable lines in this movie.
One of the more true to reality lines is “Lawyers are into everything.” This is true, lawyers control the law. The law controls everything. If you don't believe me, then just read your contract for cellular phone service, for any contest or give away, for any service or offering. A lawyer wrote all of that. A lawyer thought up all the laws that need to be put into those contracts and agreements.
Just look at your computer. Every time you download or upload a new program or service, you have to agree to some terms. You have to mark that you have read and understand and accept those terms before you get to use that program or service. If you don't agree, you don't get to use the program or service even if you have already paid for it.
Lawyers control every aspect of your life. In this country and in most countries across the globe you cannot even practice law unless you pass some sort of BAR exam that is set up and administered by lawyers. This is there way of keeping average people out of their ranks. This is how they keep control of your life. They keep control of the law and the law controls your life.
I am not saying there are not good and honest lawyers out there. Of course there are. But they have to work within a system that has been corrupted by more powerful lawyers of days gone by. The good lawyers fight an uphill battle on a daily basis to keep you and me safe.
It is very important that we elect people who know the law yes. But it is even more important to elect people who will not attempt to bend the law to their own selfish interest and will. When they do that, we the people, suffer. We the people lose our rights. We the people lose our freedom. We the people become ensnared, entrapped and enslaved by the law.
Yes, lawyers are into everything. Yes the law controls our daily life. Yes, the correct saying is “The Devil is in the Details.” Think about it next time you decide to hand over your freedom of anything to a lawyer running for office. Notice, once you give him your freedom, they never give it back even when you ask.

Romney endorses McCain no Suprise
Romney endorses McCain for President. Is this a surprise to anyone? It is not a surprise at all. Who else was Romney going to endorse? Did anyone think he would endorse the man who hurt him so badly? I am talking about Huckabee, of course.
There is no love lost between Huckabee and Romney. In fact if Huckabee were the leading candidate instead of McCain, Romney would still endorse McCain.
Of course Romney would not and will not support either of the Democrat candidates and he will not endorse the like of Ron Paul. So this thing about Mitt giving his backing to Mac is no surprise. Plus Romney is truly about making sure that the Republicans unite and push forth a more conservative agenda.
This has happened a little in this campaign. McCain has changed (at least he says he has) some of his positions on things like taxes and immigration. I think you will see McCain move even more to the right in order to please the conservative base and to get the Huckabee camp on his side. Will McCain truly believe in his move to the right?
That is something that will have to be seen but make no mistake, if elected, McCain will not be able to easily get away with not living up to his conservative promises. But for now, it's McCain who will have the nod to run for the Republicans. Having Romney's endorsement will help him but McCain will still have to convince Romney's conservative voters that he can be their candidate for conservative change.

Sunday Brief 2 10 2008
Barack is on a roll or is he? It looks like Obama swept the 5 state primary/caucus yesterday. But did he really make gains on Hillary on the delegate count? Yes and no. There were not a whole lot of delegates up for grabs but since the two Democrats are nearly even in the count, every single delegate is going to count.
Next big steps will be in the states of Texas, Ohio and PA. But can Obama pick up those states? Can he win? Some polls suggest that if Obama were the Democrat nominee, that he would beat McCain.
Other polls suggest that Obama's lack of being specific about anything will hurt him in the general election because he has a very small record to lean back on. McCain has a huge record and that record seems to harm him when it comes to conservatives. But this is where Obama will have a tough time as well.
He will need to get specific about his plans. Inspiring and pretty speeches will not cut it when you have an opponent who presses you for specifics. Obama has not had to deal with that yet. Clinton won't press Obama on specifics for fear of having to give greater details on her own plans.
The who strategy here is, less is more for now. These Democrats are afraid to let you know there specific plans. Why? Remember a decade ago when Hillary was trying to get Hillary-care passed? Americans got the details and said no with a loud and deep voice.
She and Obama know that if they get specific on their plans, the American people will run away again. This is where a good strong Republican can win. McCain, despite his own liberal record, can win over conservatives and independents simply by getting Hillary and Barack to get specific about their plans and policies. Until that happens, we will have more flowery speeches and rallies by the two Democrats. there won't be anything relevant.

The wealthiest 1%, in 2003, earned 14% of the income and paid 35% of all individual income taxes.
-
By comparison, the bottom 60% of all taxpayers earn 28% of all income and pay just 1% of all individual income taxes.
Many people who earn under $36,$15per year do so in an industry that caters to those who earn more than $150,000 per year. These high earners buy stuff. They buy lots of stuff. They get services. They get lots of services. So people who sell or service the high earners depend on those high earners to spend that money. If they don't have as much money because of higher taxes then those people who depend on them will suffer and they will suffer big time.
How do you keep the economy going strong? Simple, you first cut the taxes on the people who have the money to spend. Then you cut the taxes on every other economic group that pays taxes. When people have money to spend, they will spend it and those people on the lower end of the economic ladder will benefit and will not need government services as much or at all.
Now do the Democrats really want to help the "less fortunate" or do they just want to pay lip service? You be the judge.

Waterboarding continues to be a hot topic on the political landscape. The UN (and we all know how reputable and fair the UN is) says that waterboarding is torture and needs to be halted in the USA.
The media has been focusing on this issue for months as well. Obviously, the media in general is against waterboarding. Why? Simply because it works without harming the individual being questioned. But many Americans, if you ask them, will tell you they are against waterboarding. Ask those same Americans if they know exactly what it is and they cannot tell you except they heard it was something bad.
I'm here to tell you that I have found out what this form of interrogation is and found it to not be torture at all. Interrogation is nothing but a mind game anyway and waterbording is a form of a mind game. If it gets people to talk and it does not physically harm another the person being interrogated, then it should be used.
Waterboarding, if done properly is a good, none lethal, non harmful way to extract information from an individual. And waterboarding has been proven to be far less harmful mentally than other forms of interrogation such as sensory deprivation.

So what now?
Romney is out. He bowed out with a lot of grace and style. I must admit I am a little disappointed in his withdrawal but it was no surprise. You see, in my view, Romney is just showing his true side. He is a guy of integrity and grace and style.
Some people say he is weak. If you saw his fight with Ted Kennedy back in 1992 when he ran for US Senate in MA, then you know this guy is not a coward. It was a nasty and hard fought campaign.
His run for the Governors office was not a pick-nick either. This guy is down for the fight when he wants to be. This guy does not back away from a challenge. But this time I think he was genuine when he said that it (this race) was not about him. He said it was about the GOP and the future of our nation.
I cannot say the same for Huckabee. This guy knows he cannot win the nomination but he stayed in simply because he knew he could hurt Romney and he did. So you could say Romney was not strong enough to fight the tag team of McCain/Huckabee.
No matter. Romney reminds us that we, as a party, need to put our foot forward and remember our conservative roots. We have to be united in order to beat back the liberals run for the White House.
I will be watching the Democrat race with much anticipation. In any even, history will be made this year. It would be ashame to miss history in the making.
By the way, even though I would not vote for him, I am pulling for Obama. Not because he is a black man, but because I can't stand Hillary. Its just that simple.
So that is what is next, watching the Democrats. They are a sneaky bunch.

The Huckster give the boot to Romney
Romney bows out of the race for President. Not sure I like that he is doing that. Although his reasons are sound and logical, the fact remains that he (Romney) let himself get tag teamed and bumped. Huckabee does not like Romney and he does not like Romney for one reason only. Romney is a Mormon.
Huckabee and his people view the Mormon faith as a cult. So in short no matter what, Huckabee was not going to let Romney skate by simply because he felt Romney was not a true Christian. Never mind that others in the race were not devout Christians. Never mind that others in the race backed abortion or stem cell research, both of which Romney has come down on the side of the right.
The simple fact was that Romney was a Mormon and just like in the days of JFK, it is not possible or right that someone who is not a devout evangelical Christian to be president. JFK was our first devout Catholic president. Romney could have been our first devout Mormon president.
Now is that in the best interest of the Republican Party or in the best interest of our nation? I say it is not. Huckabee should be ashamed of himself. As should the evangelicals that support him. This guy is not a true conservative. He is not a true evangelical either. The bible says that man must obey both Gods law and mans law as issued by his government less that law be in conflict with Gods law.
Well the immigration laws do not go against Gods law yet Huckabee willingly tried to subvert those laws. God also does not believe in over taxing of the people. In fact God only ask for 10 percent of your increase or income. Huckabee rose taxes by more than 10 percent on the people of Arkansas. Not biblical.
There are many things that Huckabee has done as governor that do not fit the mold of biblical principles and thus evangelical beliefs. Yes he was able to paint Romney as some evil thing that should not be allowed near the White House. It was a personal vendetta that is not biblical. This guy calls himself a pastor of the Southern Baptist faith.
I happen to be Southern Baptist and I would not support Huckabee and shame on those evangelicals who did simply because someone else did not fit their mold of Christian. I will not approve of some of the beliefs of the Mormons because they are not biblical, but to oppose Romney simply because of that instead of searching and promoting a true conservative was and is wrong.
I hope people remember this when they get a government that is even far more removed from biblical principles than it is today. They may wish they voted for a Mormon after all.
Stumble It!
