Musk. The Savior Of Free Speech?

There are a lot of folks freaking out over Elon Musk buying the social media giant, Twitter. And there are probably an equal number of folks praising the multi billion dollar buy as being the saving grace for Free Speech.

I think that the leftist who believe Mr. Musk will re-open the platform and allow more speech and ideas than previously allowed will actually be true. Will Elon Musk be the savior of Free Speech? I don't think that will be the case.

You see, freedom of speech is something that is in the heart and soul of each individual. And I mean every single person has this within them. The difference between say Jack Dorsey and Elon Musk is that Dorsey and those who follow him, cannot fathom that someone would disagree with them. And as such they are greatly offended by those who disagree with them.

Funny thing is, even if you can scientifically prove that your opinion is correct, if it differs in any way from what Dorsey and his ilk believe, they will seek to shut you down, shut you up and shut you off from public forums.

But...Dorsey and his crowd have no problems with promoting opinions they believe in even if they are blatantly wrong. But, hey, its what they think Democracy is.

Musk, on the other hand, is a bit smarter. He welcomes comments, opinions and debate with those who disagree with him. In fact Musk himself has publicly stated that he has learned a great deal from those that have disagreed with him.

Musk and his crew believe that an open forum and open debate is the best way to bring forth new ideas, parse those ideas and find the best ideas to move individuals and society forward.

Musk and his followers also believe that even those that offend them should have the right to espouse their beliefs and opinions. Indeed, it is easier to identify your enemy when you can hear them talk about how much they hate you.

There is nothing mysterious or dangerous about freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is freedom of thought. This is how a free society moves forward, progresses and makes strides to espouse even more freedom for its citizens.

There is nothing to fear from speech that is even hateful. It allows for all to see who is the hater, who espouses evil, who loves to restrict freedom, who wants to rule over you instead of govern with you.

Yes, the left hates free speech simply because it means they have a hard time, if not impossible time, in gaining power and ruling over you and me. In fact true free speech is so frightening to them that the Twitter board and Blue Check Leftists Twitter Users tried a number of idea on keeping the company out of Musk's hands.

So let me be clear. If someone espouses an idea that you abhor, that does not mean you get to keep them from sharing that idea. In fact, YOUR idea may be abhorrent to that person. You see, free speech, free expression flows two ways.

If its a one way street then you don't have freedom. You have authoritarianism. And that ain't constitutional.

Harry Reed is a bumpkin

Harry Reed reminds us that Washington is not for the little guy any more. And there is a new ad out there that shows Harry in the light that is true.

What the ad doesn't do is endorse someone else. Probably because as far as big political parties go, they are all the same. What we need is someone who will stand in there for the regular Joe and Jane American.

No more big money in politics. No more big parties. No more endless re-elections. Isn't time we all changed who we have representing us in Washington, D.C.?

Rahm and Obama are not Change artists

Barack Obama campaigned on change. Change from the old politics. Change from the grid lock in Washington in the past. Change, change, change.

The real truth is that Obama and his Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel are nothing more than old dog Democratic politicians trying to play both sides of the coin. They view this health care reform debate as a win-win for them.

The Young Turks make sense in this video. Lets face it, America voted in the last election for change based on the rhetoric spewed by Obama and Emanuel. Instead what we got was the good ol' boys with a different skin color and ethnic background.

Clinton Machine Crashes

It looks like the Clinton Machine is crashing and burning. Hillary has loaned her campaign 5 million dollars. She has fired her campaign manager. She is conceding certain states to Obama in order to concentrate on states with more delegates.

Clinton is also pissed. This is the woman whom every one had anointed the next President of the USA. But then came along a challenger whom she dismissed at first. But no matter what she did, this skinny upstart from the state of IL would not go away.

In fact he pushed forward and even began winning. This was not supposed to happen. Hillary was o the ropes. She was so badly bruised that she even tried to cry on national TV. That ploy backfired. She tried putting forth a more "human" side. Nobody believed it. Many Americans view her still as an Ice Queen.

The big test was last week when most political pundits, up until the last minute, kept saying it was going to be a decisive victory for Clinton. It was not. In fact Obama made inroads. Obama built more momentum. Obama began looking like he could and would win the nomination.

Hillary brought out her husband Bill who tried to hammer on Obama. It didn't work. Hillary brought out her daughter, Chelsea, to try and woo the young and college vote. It didn't work either.

What will Hillary try and do now? Her negatives are still nearly twice that of President Bush even though some polls suggest that if the election were today she would edge out Republican McCain. This is highly unlikely since McCain has far lower negative numbers than Hillary.

What we will see is Hillary getting nasty. What we will see is the Clinton machine trying to get back in gear and try and tear Obama a new one. There is already some evidence of this. Clinton is hinting that Obama is taking money from lobbyist and giving them breaks and perks. As if the Clintons' are not the masters of paying off their lobbyist friends.

The Real Democrat

I often get asked why it is that I so hate liberals and Democrats. First of all, I don't hate anybody. Liberals are the ones who hate. Now, I can dislike a person. I can hate what they stand for. I can hate what they do. But I do not hate them.

Secondly, I am part Native American and part African American (thats Indian and Black to those of you in the south) and lets face it for the most part, the white man has not been very kind to my people. So if there is anyone who could hate another group of people, I guess I could hate whites. But then I would be hating part of myself because I'm also part French and Irish.

That leads me to my next point. In this country, unless you or your family came here within the last 50 years or so, it is very likely that you are a self contained United Nations yourself. Very few of us are "pure breads". Most of us have a mix of ethnicity within our veins. Many of you could have Black in you or Indian in you and not even know it. So in truth when you hate someone because of their skin color or their features, you just might be hating yourself.

Now that leads me to why I don't like liberals or Democrats. It is also why I am totaly amazed at the support that so many groups give Democrats. Especially Hillary Clinton and John Edwards. Now you must know that Native Americans in general do not vote. Why? Because they distrust all white men and for good reason. Just look at their history with the white man. Not good at all.

Which leads me to ask why do Blacks and Homosexuals support Democrats so much. Lets face it folks, who was in charge of the South when slavery was alive and well? Democrats. Who instituted the "don't ask, don't tell" policy in the military? Democrats. Who pushed and signed for the defense of marriage act? Democrats. Who created the welfare state and destroyed minority families and left a total mess in the inner city? Democrats. Who controls our education system that is falling apart? Democrats. And most importantly for Blacks, which party had the most KKK members in it before Civil Rights? Democrats. And finally, who was it that stood in the way of Civil Rights the most especially in the South? Democrats.

So why should I support Democrats? They have not given me any reason to do so. They have shown me by their actions that they look down upon me and my people. They have shown me that they still feel superior to me and my people. The constantly act to keep me and my people down but try and disguise it as help. No, I do not like Liberals and Democrats. I do not like them in hats. I would not like them near me. I would not like them to take care of me. I do not like them at all. For a Democrat in the White House is the begining of my fall.

Immigration A Positional Paper

Immigration

Immigration is a huge problem in our country. For good reason too. First let me say that I am NOT against Immigration We are all either immigrants or descendants of immigrants. Including the Native American people of which I am one.

The USA is a beacon of hope around the world. We stand for truth, justice, a better way of life. In short America stands for opportunity and just about everyone on this planet knows that. This is why we have people from nearly every nation on earth living within our borders. We are a great melting pot. We give those who are willing to work hard and smart the chance at a better life and even get rich.

I truly believe that America is humanity's last hope for freedom and survival. We enjoy freedoms here than many around the world can only dream about when they go to sleep at night. We enjoy such freedoms and opportunity that some people will try to subvert the very nation they wish to live and grow within.

I'm talking about illegal immigration. It is a huge problem we have and it must be stopped. We have laws on the books that take care of this so new laws or reform is not needed. What is needed is the enforcement of the laws already on the books. What we don't need is more laws that complicate things even more and we don't need more laws that won't be enforced.

We have ways for people to enter our nation legally. We have many ways. We have many ways in which people can legally stay in our country. We have ways of helping those who truly need it such as political asylum. However, we cannot help the entire world.

I have heard it estimated that some 2 billion of the worlds population would attempt to immigrate to the USA if they had a means to do so. Lets just say that number is high. Lets say only 25 percent of that 2 billion is the correct number. That means some 500 million people would like to call the USA home if they had the means to do so.

We obviously could not handle such an influx of humans in our country. If this number is correct and people wait for years for an opportunity to get here, why should we allow illegals to come here? Why should we reward illegals with benefits such as Social Security and education? Why should we not enforce the laws we have and punish those who come illegally and then why not reward those who enter legally?

Illegal immigration is not a good thing for our nation and the argument about cheap labor does not justify the breaking of our nations laws and codes. Besides there are plenty of people who come here legally who would want such jobs that illegals take. There are plenty of people who come here legally who would be happy to contribute to our society. Illegals to NOT contribute to a law abiding society. They take from it. They steal from it. They rape it.

We need to close the borders, track down and throw out all 12 million illegals and punish those who harbor or help these people. Then maybe we can increase the number of legal immigrants to our nation. After all, the USA likes to tout itself as a nation of laws. If this is the case then why not enforce those laws that were put in place to protect her and her citizens?

Global Warming/Cooling/Change

The Environment – Global Warming.

Most of us older than say 15 or so probably can remember days when the snow came down heavy and snowbanks were so high you could sled down them. We can remember snowbanks so high that you probably could not see across the street from your living room window. We can remember blizzards that knocked out power for days and shut down schools for days.

We can remember when we had a white Christmas and a we can also remember when Halloween was so cold that most of us wore long john thermals under our costumes.

Yea those were the good old cold days. The days before Global Warming. The days when record lows were recorded often. Oh wait. Doesn't that sound just like the past five years?

Yes it does. In fact as I write this, the Mid West has some 1 million residents without power due to ice and snow storms. Much of the Norther United States will see a very white Christmas this year and some pretty hefty if not near record breaking lows is squeezing the heat out of Global Warming enthusiast.

Global Warming is no more absolute science fact as evolution is. (Yes, now you know where I stand on evolution but that is for another post.) In fact there is a lot of real and legitimate science that tells us man is not the cause of global warming and that the earth is not warming up abnormally. In fact parts of the world are getting colder.

We hear a lot about the northern polar caps melting. We hear that Polar Bears are drowning out in the open water because they didn't know that there once frozen solid hunting grounds melted away. What we don't hear about is how the Southern Polar cap is growing. What we don't hear about is how some nations north and south of the equator are experiencing bitter cold snaps. What we don't hear about is penguins in the south are flourishing because their habitat is growing.

None of that fits the mold. Pro global warming scientist conveniently forget to remind us that Greenland at one point in the past when it was discovered and named, was indeed green. Long before man began using fossil fuels.

These scientist fail to remind us that the earth has always had cyclical cycles in weather and temperature. Some 200 years ago, England was in the throws of what we call a mini Ice Age. Charles Dickens wrote some of his best works with a backdrop of London covered in snow. In order for that to happen, the earth had to change its weather patterns. This means that at some point before the Dickens era, England was warm and never saw snow. Did man influence that warm up and cool down? Of course not.

In fact there are so many scientists, climatologist, meteorologist, geologist, etc that do not believe there is any man made or natural global warming it would boggle your mind but you never hear about these prominent and very learned people.

Yes there is an agenda. The agenda is to take your freedom. The agenda is to tell you how to live. The agenda is to punish you for being a prosperous people. The agenda is to take your money. Why else would they be so adamant about an opposing view. After all isn't that what good science is about, looking at theories from all angles?

Of course it is. However, the global warming crowd does not want opposing views to be presented. They even go so far as to try and ostracize those who have opposing views. They often crowd the lecture halls where those on the other side speak and then yell and scream to keep the other view from being heard.

This goes to prove that their position is weak and feeble. Nobody who has a strong and truthful position has to use such tactics in order to keep the other side silent. What do the global disaster believers have to fear if their science is so fool proof and sound?

The point is they have plenty to fear because they know there science is not fool proof nor is it sound. The simple fact is that the sun, our sun, causes our planet to warm and cool depending on its level of activity. There are times when our sun is hotter than usual and there are time when it is cooler than usual. This is directly reflected in the climate of the planet. More activity, as we have no, means warmer temperatures usually in the north. Thus places that we know of as being covered in snow, begin to green up.

The dirty little secret is that when they places do green up and the snow melts away, we discover trails and villages and other human activity from centuries past. This means that these areas were warm at one point which goes to help prove that this current weather pattern is not dire nor is it unique.

In short, yes we humans have polluted. But, we humans are causing global warming. In fact if you Google, science against global warming or anything in that genre, you will get a plethora of sites giving, showing and telling you about information, proven science that disproves global warming.

If I were the leader of a nation, I would not sign onto the global warming band wagon and I would tell the United Nations to go take a hike. A real hike and have them explore the planet and see that man could not possibly be big enough to destroy our environment. But some people think they are big enough to know how you should live and they are fighting to take your money and your freedom so they can do just that. Global Warming is the weapon of choice that some in the media have been swindled into supporting.

My Intro, What I believe

I have been asked a lot about my positions on many topics and issues that relate to all areas of our political, moral, social and economic system of government.

First, you should know I am not a “rich” person. In other words, I do not earn over $250 per year. I am not white, well at least most of me is not. I am Native American (Cherokee and Osage), Black (African American), French (from France) all rolled into one human being who is all American. Born and raised in these United States.

My views come from having a father who was a career military man and by my being raised in many parts of the USA and abroad. I have seen how some of the rest of the world lives and yes I have even been to a few cities and towns in Canada.

I pride myself on logic and principle instead of emotion. That does not mean I don't have a heart. Jesus Christ had the biggest heart of any man who ever lived however, he was full of logic and principle. I cannot ever hope to reach such a level as Christ but that does not mean I cannot try to emulate Him.

I will begin to take one issue at a time on a daily basis and give my position and try to express in words why that position makes sense on a number of levels. I will not shy away from any issue. If I don't know anything or enough about a particular issue I am not afraid to say so and will en devour to research and find out more before giving my position.

Does this sound like a man running for political office? I hope not because that is not my intent. Although I have been asked by everyday people (not politicians) to run for local offices from school boards to state senates. I have refused all request. Why would I do such a thing? Because at this point in my life, I believe I can be more effective by staying outside of the political arena. Not to mention, I would never thrust my family, my children, into such a spotlight.

The horrific anal exam my entire family would have to endure would not be fair to them. However, as my family grows, the thought of public office may be something that will make logical sense. It does not make logic sense at this time for me and my family.

I am sure I will begin to attract the attention of those who not only disagree with my positions for a number of reasons. I am not afraid of such scrutiny. Do I have things in my past that I wish to remain private? Of course I do. There is not a human being on this planet that doesn't. Will I lie about those things if asked? Not on your life.

We have all done things in our past that we are not proud of and I am of no exception. We have all made mistakes in our past, again I am no exception. It proves I am human and I am normal. I challenge every political person to be as open with their past or at least as honest when the light shines on the dark corners of who they are.

I know I will make some angry. I know I will make some cheer. I know some will think me insensitive. I know some will think I need to be locked away. I know some will think I sold out to “the man”. I know some will think me a tad shy of sheer genius. I know some will just hurl insult after insult at me. I know some will think me but a puppet of the establishment or a pawn of the anarchist.

I will be first and foremost honest, truthful, plain, sincere and logical. That is something I can promise and deliver. So if you want to know more about what my positions are, then over the next few weeks
