The Dangers of the Left again show up in Cali

Proposition 8 in California was approved by a majority of the voters in that state. The proposition is an amendment to the state's Constitution. It states that marriage is the union between one man and one woman and that California will not accept or recognize any union other than that no matter where or when that union took place.

In other words, gay marriage is now illegal in California and it is not just a law, the proposition actually adds an amendment to the Constitution which puts it off limits to activist judges. Or at least that is what those that support this law thought.

It would appear that there are those in California that do not want this law to go into effect. In fact they want to thwart the will of the people by using the courts again.

Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against gay people. In fact I have lots of friends who are gay. Surprising to me is the fact that many of them are not for gay marriage. Which goes to show that gays are not united on this issue as you have been lead to believe.

I for one, know that this nation was based on Judeo/Christian ethics by the Founding Fathers. Even though many of us may not like the idea but it is true, the bible does not allow for the union of a same sex couple. Although you could say that Jesus removed or fulfilled all the Lavitical laws, He did not do so for the 10 Commandments. One of those Commandments states that a man cannot lay or have sex with another man.

Now I will let theologians argue the merits of that issue. The other big issue is that the people of California have spoken. I find it amazing that when a minority thinks they have been wronged, they try and sue the majority. In effect, they hold the majority hostage. That was not the intent of the Constitution of any state or the Federal Government. The Constitutions do have provisions that keep the majority from pounding the minority into oblivion but that does not mean that the minority get to have their way whole sale.

This is how we get stupid laws dictated from the judicial bench. We get a few people who do not like what the majority have voted upon and thus take their losing case to the courts. The courts, in most cases, should toss these law suits out but liberal and activist judges have taken up the causes of the liberal minority and have thrust their rulings upon the majority thus holding the majority hostage.

This actually makes the majority the new minority. So would that mean we, the majority, are now the special protecties of the Constitution? We are being bullied by the minority. They bully us in court. They bully us in the press. And they try and bully us in the voting booth. They threaten to make your vote useless by taking every decision they don't like to a court. Talk about disenfranchised.

The point is this. The people of the state of California have spoken. If there is something you don't like about that vote, then you have the right to move. The Constitution does not give you the right to bully the majority when they do things legally. The courts have no jurisdiction on what can and cannot be added to the Constitution. It is time that some in the minority learn that if they keep fighting the will of the people, that those people will eventually give the minority something far more devastating than they expected.

This happened in California because when the people voted back in 2000 to make marriage between a man and a woman a plain law. The minority took them to court and a court forced something that the majority did not want. So the majority took matters into their hands and decided to do something radical. They decided to amend their Constitution which now makes it much more difficult if not impossible for gays to get their way. Good going to the minority of gays who have now just ruined life for the majority of gays.

Messiah to BANKRUPT an entire industry

Obama has said, in his own words, that his plans would bankrupt our coal industry. It would also skyrocket our electric and energy cost.

This is just outrageous. Why is all of this stuff just coming out now? Why has all of this stuff been hidden from us? I have a theory.

The main stream media has been in the tank for Obama since before Barack even hinted at running for President. I remember some in the media talking about how clean, how articulate, how smart this guy was and they dreamed of him running for president.

He was primed and pumped by the media to run. So he did run and the media protected him from day one. They gave him cover. The media did not vet this guy out. They refused to investigate his past and his beliefs. The media even refused to release information they have that is negative about Obama.

But now some of this stuff is starting to leak out. Why is this? Not to long ago we had Charlie Rose on his PBS show interviewing Dan Rather and they were both saying they did not "know anything about him (Obama)" How is this possible?

The press is beginning to distance themselves from this guy. They now understand, too late, that this guy is dangerous. But the main stream media cannot take him out now. They would look like the idiots they really are. We have had the middle and the right and even some on the left warn us about this guy but the media did not listen.

Now some of his policy preferences are coming to light and the press is getting nervous. Not to mention some of their own have been silenced by Obama. The press is starting to run from Obama. But in order to keep their credibility (what little they have left) they cannot turn on Obama now. After all they are responsible for putting him there.

So once this guy gets into office, they could find out that they made a horrible mistake. That even their own freedom to print and report what they want could be in danger. They understand that they also have to live in this nation no matter what else happens. They will end up paying the high taxes. They will end up having to pay those sky high energy cost.

And if energy cost rise, that means less of them with jobs. Now they are on the ropes and the media is looking for a way out. They are looking for a skapegoat. But they have only themselves to blame.

Now Barack will bankrupt a major US industry. We will pay sky high energy cost. Our taxes will rocket to the stratosphere. Our economy will tank and if you think this light recession is bad, wait until we get Jimmy Carter inflation and unemployment back. Then you will know pain. And so will those in the media. In fact some are quietly saying that an Obama recession would be worse than a Carter recession.

Is this what we really what we want for our nation?

By the way, you may ask when did Obama say these things? Back in January of 2008. JANUARY 2008. And we are just now hearing about it. And you don't think the main stream media is not in the tank for Obama? You better grow up fast. You have only a few hours.

Hey, freedom is not free but it doesn't have to come at the cost of an entire industry and Americans having to pay sky high electric rates.

Think about it folks.

This guy is almost as cool as I am

You heard it right. This guy is almost as cool as I am. He is absolutely just as political incorrect as I am. But I have to admit, I am better looking. :) But seriously this guy should be my VP running mate. Can you imagine two Constitution loving conservative black men running our nation? Now that is a dream MLK could march all the way back from Heaven for.

http://haloscan.com/tb/martinft/1773783997286273233

There is no doubt that not all people of color believe in or support Sen Obama. In fact let me put this to rest for all of you out there. Obama is not black. He is half white and half AFRICAN. He has no slave blood in him. He is a half breed. (I can say that because I am of mixed race myself)

This man spent formative years outside of the USA. He does not have your interest at heart. He wants power. He wants to rob you of your freedom. He wants socialism. He wants to take the USA down the road of failure.

Make no mistake about it. Obama is one of the biggest mistakes the people of this nation has allowed to rise to the top of our political system.

Think, and then go vote. And vote for freedom and the Constitution of the USA.

God Bless, God Speed and God save the USA.

Correction on Post

This is the video that everyone needs to view before November 4, 2008.

This is scary for sure. But what is more scary is the fact that this guy could get elected. Do you liberty and freedom loving citizens really want that? Then get out and vote and get your friends, family and co-workers to get out there and vote and vote for McCain. He is by far the lesser of two evils.

God Bless and God SAVE America!

Im Right on Obama. Prove Im Wrong

I was taking the entire summer off. But this Obama thing has really got me in a tizzy to coin an old fashioned term. I am still waiting for someone...anyone to tell me exactly why they support this man for President of the United States of America.

All I can get in reply is sound bites. “He will change things.” “He will end the war (battle) of Iraq.” “He will make the world love us again since GW has the world hating us.” I ask how he plans on doing this and people actually get mad at me.

They call me a racist. Then I have to point out to them I am a black man so by their own definition I cannot be a racist. Then they call me a Bush lover and I point out how many things I disagree with GW on including most of the Patriot Act.

Then they claim I am just blind and stupid and I have to point out that I know that there only 50 States in our Union not 57 as Obama has once claimed. So that leaves me with the burning question. What does this guy stand for? What do his supporters know about him and why the hell do they support him.

Lets face it. This guys is a racist. He hates half of himself. Yes people, he is not a “Black” man. He is half white. His mother is ALL white. That makes him HALF white and HALF black. He is also not a descendant of slaves as most blacks in this country are. He grew up in a rather privileged life. By that token, since I am the son of a career military man, I also did not really grow up in the inner city. Although I have spent a few years of my life living in a city called Buffalo, NY. I attended public school number 31 in that city for part of my 1st and 4th grade and all of my 8th grade years. Do I know what its like to live and play and be scared in such an environment? Yes I do.

Barry has not had to deal with such things. Yet he will run around and tell Europe that our country has never been represented by someone who looks like him before. What about Secretary Powell and Secretary Rice? I guess they are not “black” enough. But then I would argue that those two Americans are more black than Barry.

What about the men and women of our military who are black? They represent our nation. And I am certain that most of them are far more black than Obama. In fact many of them come from the inner city.

Plus I have this issue with Barry making all kinds of simple mistakes. These exact same mistakes have labeled President Bush as an idiot. Yet Liberals still view Barry as brilliant. They make excuses for him like he has had little sleep. What the hell do you think the President does? You think he gets 10 hours of sleep every night?

Hell no. Being president is one tough job. Look at all the men who enter the office with full un-gray hair and leave 4 or 8 years later almost white haired. Its a tough job and you often get very little if any sleep. If this guy makes these kinds of mistakes while only on the campaign trail, what kind of really important mistakes will he make while sitting in the Oval Office?

Right now we take pot shots at his mistakes. But once he is in office, people will die for mistakes like that. This is serious folks. You have to think about the people of this country. You have to think about the two candidates realistically. No McCain is not an ideal candidate but we now have to go for the lesser of two evils.

Sorry to say that at this juncture it is McCain that is the lesser of two evils. Worse yet is that compared to Obama, McCain is a total Saint.

Oh, and I can say all this about Barry because I am black. I also am part Native American so I can speak for them as well. They don't want Barry in the White House either. Blacks only support him because he is black but he is not like them. And they lack the knowledge of history of the Democrat party as the racist pigs they truly are. Doubt me, then who blocked civil rights for over 100 years? The Democrat party.

I am more qualified to be president than Obama. And I am sorely under qualified. So where does that put him? You think I am wrong? Then tell me specifically why I am wrong. I dare you. I know you can't because you know I am right.

My Colors Don't Run.

Today Barack Obama continues his winning streak in the Democrat Primary. Hillary Clinton, of course, still touts her supposed 35 years of service that makes her the only Democrat ready to lead on day one in the White House.

I am still trying to figure out what she has done all those 35 years. All I hear for her is that she wants to take away our freedoms when she gets into office. All I hear is how she wants to take care of all of us. The problem with taking care of us is she and her other Democrat friends will have to pounce on the Constitution.

Thrashing the Constitution is not limited to Democrats. Republicans have done it as well. In fact we have a front runner on the Republican side that was a co sponsor of a bill that became law that limits our freedom of speech. It's called the McCain Fiengold bill. It limits most Americans free speech when it comes to elections.

They argued that money is not equal to free speech. The real reason for this law is to limit opposition close to an election. This is not the American way. Not by the standards of the US Constitution.

Let me be very clear. I do not believe any of the major candidates have yours or my best interest in their minds. Oh they may say they do but its all in their actions, not what they give lip service to. How can you say you are for freedom and choice when you want to take over a major part of every Americans life?

How can you say you are for freedom when you are for making laws that limit choice and attack the very freedoms that are written within the Constitution? You can't. Look around you. Do you honestly believe that limiting your freedoms is better for you and your family and business? Of course not.

We have more laws on our books than ever before. We have laws that contradict some other laws. We have laws that are so confusing that it is nearly impossible for prosecutors and judges to adjudicate them. We have laws that fly directly in the face of the Constitution limiting the every day freedoms of the average American.

Lets face it, we have been the frog in the pot far too long. It is time we jump out of this pot and reclaim what is rightfully ours. The Constitution guarantees us our freedom. The courts are supposed to make sure of this and the executive offices of the states and the federal level are supposed to make sure those rights are safe and enforced.

I love my country. Let me repeat that. I love the United States of America. No it is not a perfect country. It does not have a perfect history. With my heritage, I know how imperfect it has been and how imperfect it still is. However, after visiting and/or living in other nations on this globe, I can tell you there is no other place as nice or free.

But it seems Americans are eager to elect those people who are more than happy to strip them of their basic rights. This I just do not understand. I would fight and die willingly to protect and preserve what our Founding Fathers fought so hard to give me and my heirs. I will support anyone who will truly support the Constitution of the United States. I will fight to defend the rights of all of those who disagree with me for that very reason that differences of opinion have helped make our country so great.

But what I cannot stand by and let happen is a bunch of politicians stomp on the graves of our Founding Fathers and strip the Constitution bare. Oh the carnivores are feasting on the American people rights and the American people keep serving them up with bear to wash it all down.

But not this American. Not this Constitution loving American. You should not let your rights be taken away. You should demand that the rights you have lost be returned and you can do that by voting for those who stand up for the Constitution. And for those of you who support him, I do not believe in him. I am talking about Ron Paul. He is not the right person at the right time for a number of reasons that really belong in another post.

Just think about what I have said. Take an hour or so and read the Constitution. It is YOUR Constitution. It belongs to all of us and you should know what you are giving up when you vote for those who say they want to “help and take care of you” because in the end, they only help and take care of themselves at your expense.

When you vote, vote for the Constitution of the United States of America. Never, never, never let your colors run. Mine don't and never will.

Romney endorses McCain no Suprise

Romney endorses McCain for President. Is this a surprise to anyone? It is not a surprise at all. Who else was Romney going to endorse? Did anyone think he would endorse the man who hurt him so badly? I am talking about Huckabee, of course.

There is no love lost between Huckabee and Romney. In fact if Huckabee were the leading candidate instead of McCain, Romney would still endorse McCain.

Of course Romney would not and will not support either of the Democrat candidates and he will not endorse the like of Ron Paul. So this thing about Mitt giving his backing to Mac is no surprise. Plus Romney is truly about making sure that the Republicans unite and push forth a more conservative agenda.

This has happened a little in this campaign. McCain has changed (at least he says he has) some of his positions on things like taxes and immigration. I think you will see McCain move even more to the right in order to please the conservative base and to get the Huckabee camp on his side. Will McCain truly believe in his move to the right?

That is something that will have to be seen but make no mistake, if elected, McCain will not be able to easily get away with not living up to his conservative promises. But for now, it's McCain who will have the nod to run for the Republicans. Having Romney's endorsement will help him but McCain will still have to convince Romney's conservative voters that he can be their candidate for conservative change.

Clinton Machine Crashes

It looks like the Clinton Machine is crashing and burning. Hillary has loaned her campaign 5 million dollars. She has fired her campaign manager. She is conceding certain states to Obama in order to concentrate on states with more delegates.

Clinton is also pissed. This is the woman whom every one had anointed the next President of the USA. But then came along a challenger whom she dismissed at first. But no matter what she did, this skinny upstart from the state of IL would not go away.

In fact he pushed forward and even began winning. This was not supposed to happen. Hillary was o the ropes. She was so badly bruised that she even tried to cry on national TV. That ploy backfired. She tried putting forth a more "human" side. Nobody believed it. Many Americans view her still as an Ice Queen.

The big test was last week when most political pundits, up until the last minute, kept saying it was going to be a decisive victory for Clinton. It was not. In fact Obama made inroads. Obama built more momentum. Obama began looking like he could and would win the nomination.

Hillary brought out her husband Bill who tried to hammer on Obama. It didn't work. Hillary brought out her daughter, Chelsea, to try and woo the young and college vote. It didn't work either.

What will Hillary try and do now? Her negatives are still nearly twice that of President Bush even though some polls suggest that if the election were today she would edge out Republican McCain. This is highly unlikely since McCain has far lower negative numbers than Hillary.

What we will see is Hillary getting nasty. What we will see is the Clinton machine trying to get back in gear and try and tear Obama a new one. There is already some evidence of this. Clinton is hinting that Obama is taking money from lobbyist and giving them breaks and perks. As if the Clintons' are not the masters of paying off their lobbyist friends.

Sunday Brief 2 10 2008

Barack is on a roll or is he? It looks like Obama swept the 5 state primary/caucus yesterday. But did he really make gains on Hillary on the delegate count? Yes and no. There were not a whole lot of delegates up for grabs but since the two Democrats are nearly even in the count, every single delegate is going to count.

Next big steps will be in the states of Texas, Ohio and PA. But can Obama pick up those states? Can he win? Some polls suggest that if Obama were the Democrat nominee, that he would beat McCain.

Other polls suggest that Obama's lack of being specific about anything will hurt him in the general election because he has a very small record to lean back on. McCain has a huge record and that record seems to harm him when it comes to conservatives. But this is where Obama will have a tough time as well.

He will need to get specific about his plans. Inspiring and pretty speeches will not cut it when you have an opponent who presses you for specifics. Obama has not had to deal with that yet. Clinton won't press Obama on specifics for fear of having to give greater details on her own plans.

The who strategy here is, less is more for now. These Democrats are afraid to let you know there specific plans. Why? Remember a decade ago when Hillary was trying to get Hillary-care passed? Americans got the details and said no with a loud and deep voice.

She and Obama know that if they get specific on their plans, the American people will run away again. This is where a good strong Republican can win. McCain, despite his own liberal record, can win over conservatives and independents simply by getting Hillary and Barack to get specific about their plans and policies. Until that happens, we will have more flowery speeches and rallies by the two Democrats. there won't be anything relevant.

  • The wealthiest 1%, in 2003, earned 14% of the income and paid 35% of all individual income taxes.

  • By comparison, the bottom 60% of all taxpayers earn 28% of all income and pay just 1% of all individual income taxes.

This should dispel the notion that the rich don't pay their fair share or that the rich need to pay more in taxes. We already know that the higher income earners help the economy and those at the lower end of the economy as well.

Many people who earn under $36,$15per year do so in an industry that caters to those who earn more than $150,000 per year. These high earners buy stuff. They buy lots of stuff. They get services. They get lots of services. So people who sell or service the high earners depend on those high earners to spend that money. If they don't have as much money because of higher taxes then those people who depend on them will suffer and they will suffer big time.

How do you keep the economy going strong? Simple, you first cut the taxes on the people who have the money to spend. Then you cut the taxes on every other economic group that pays taxes. When people have money to spend, they will spend it and those people on the lower end of the economic ladder will benefit and will not need government services as much or at all.

Now do the Democrats really want to help the "less fortunate" or do they just want to pay lip service? You be the judge.

Waterboarding continues to be a hot topic on the political landscape. The UN (and we all know how reputable and fair the UN is) says that waterboarding is torture and needs to be halted in the USA.

The media has been focusing on this issue for months as well. Obviously, the media in general is against waterboarding. Why? Simply because it works without harming the individual being questioned. But many Americans, if you ask them, will tell you they are against waterboarding. Ask those same Americans if they know exactly what it is and they cannot tell you except they heard it was something bad.

I'm here to tell you that I have found out what this form of interrogation is and found it to not be torture at all. Interrogation is nothing but a mind game anyway and waterbording is a form of a mind game. If it gets people to talk and it does not physically harm another the person being interrogated, then it should be used.

Waterboarding, if done properly is a good, none lethal, non harmful way to extract information from an individual. And waterboarding has been proven to be far less harmful mentally than other forms of interrogation such as sensory deprivation.

My Intro, What I believe

I have been asked a lot about my positions on many topics and issues that relate to all areas of our political, moral, social and economic system of government.

First, you should know I am not a “rich” person. In other words, I do not earn over $250 per year. I am not white, well at least most of me is not. I am Native American (Cherokee and Osage), Black (African American), French (from France) all rolled into one human being who is all American. Born and raised in these United States.

My views come from having a father who was a career military man and by my being raised in many parts of the USA and abroad. I have seen how some of the rest of the world lives and yes I have even been to a few cities and towns in Canada.

I pride myself on logic and principle instead of emotion. That does not mean I don't have a heart. Jesus Christ had the biggest heart of any man who ever lived however, he was full of logic and principle. I cannot ever hope to reach such a level as Christ but that does not mean I cannot try to emulate Him.

I will begin to take one issue at a time on a daily basis and give my position and try to express in words why that position makes sense on a number of levels. I will not shy away from any issue. If I don't know anything or enough about a particular issue I am not afraid to say so and will en devour to research and find out more before giving my position.

Does this sound like a man running for political office? I hope not because that is not my intent. Although I have been asked by everyday people (not politicians) to run for local offices from school boards to state senates. I have refused all request. Why would I do such a thing? Because at this point in my life, I believe I can be more effective by staying outside of the political arena. Not to mention, I would never thrust my family, my children, into such a spotlight.

The horrific anal exam my entire family would have to endure would not be fair to them. However, as my family grows, the thought of public office may be something that will make logical sense. It does not make logic sense at this time for me and my family.

I am sure I will begin to attract the attention of those who not only disagree with my positions for a number of reasons. I am not afraid of such scrutiny. Do I have things in my past that I wish to remain private? Of course I do. There is not a human being on this planet that doesn't. Will I lie about those things if asked? Not on your life.

We have all done things in our past that we are not proud of and I am of no exception. We have all made mistakes in our past, again I am no exception. It proves I am human and I am normal. I challenge every political person to be as open with their past or at least as honest when the light shines on the dark corners of who they are.

I know I will make some angry. I know I will make some cheer. I know some will think me insensitive. I know some will think I need to be locked away. I know some will think I sold out to “the man”. I know some will think me a tad shy of sheer genius. I know some will just hurl insult after insult at me. I know some will think me but a puppet of the establishment or a pawn of the anarchist.

I will be first and foremost honest, truthful, plain, sincere and logical. That is something I can promise and deliver. So if you want to know more about what my positions are, then over the next few weeks
