The reason for the season

Up here in New England we will enjoy a white Christmas. This is in spite of the fact that there was a two week conference on Global Warming in Copenhagen. I find it very humorous that during this conference, the city got near record cold temperatures and near record snow fall and that very same city will have a white Christmas for the first time in decades.

I also find it funny that when temperatures plummet all over the planet, Global Warming popes and priest tell us that if it gets cold, its because of the same global warming that caused temps to rise back in the 90's.

But I digress. This is the time of year that is not about global warming, global cooling, man-made global climate change or whatever else the anti mankind religious zealots want to call the natural flow of the planets climate change.

This is the time of year we celebrate the greatest humanitarian, economist, environmentalist and human lover the world has ever seen. It is a time we stop to celebrate a birth that changed man. Indeed, this was a birth that actually split time in two.

But instead of remembering and celebrating such a birth, we run around trying to find and buy the latest fad, electronic, card or anything else our limited financial budgets can handle in order to give it to someone we say we love and care about. We also know that those gifts will most likely be broken, thrown away or exchanged within the first 2 months of the new year, lost and forgotten in time and in memory.

Yes it is cool to see a tree, be it real or artificial, propped up with loads of wrapped gifts. Sure it is great fun to run around town in your car, van or even SUV to look at the dazzling if not dizzying display of electric candles adorning house after house.

It is great fun to run about with an extra spring in our step because it is expected that everyone be more jolly and friendly at this time of year and to eat more than we should especially more of the things we should not eat at all.

But then comes the new year and we feel a sense of loss. We crash and feel depressed often blaming it on the weather noticing how dead and dreary the landscape looks. We exit our over heated buildings into the cold cursing and condeming the fact that global warming has not made our small corner of the world a tropical paradise.

The euphoria that we felt before December 25 is replaced by shock and dismay come January 25 as the credit card bills arrive in the mail. We often say with a hint of denial in our voices, "I didn't spend that much."

The shock and realization of our spending transgressions is very apparent and we lament the fact that we have less than a year to do it all over again.

But some of us do carry that joy that is this holiday season in our hearts all year long. Although we are few in number, we can and due have a huge impact on those around us. How is this possible in a world of fast, faster and fastest?

We slow down enough to know that this time of year is not about the tree, the lights, the spectacle, the snow, the gifts under the tree or anything else that tradition has now taught us.

We slow down and know that the greatest gift of all was not born on this day, but is celebrated non the less on this day.

The greatest gift every single human this planet has ever hosted or ever will support in life was a tiny baby born over 2000 years ago.

The reason for the season is a birthday. The birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Son of Man and more importantly, the Son of God.

Thank you God for this awesome gift.

And, Happy birthday Jesus.

The Great Lie Machine Never Gives Up

The Clinton Machine does not know defeat. OK, it may know defeat but it does not know quit. It has never quit. Remember all those years ago at the Democrat National Convention when Bill gave a keynote address that lasted forever? They cheered when he was done.

Did Bill run off and hide? No he learned from his mistake and continued on and eventually became President. No Hillary is faced with a defeat but she just won't quit. She won't give up.

This surprises who? Not me. This is a bunch of people who never have given up on anything. They tried to nationalize health care back in the 90's. It didn't go over very well with the American public back then.

But guess what is front and center on the political landscape this year? Guess what people are beginning to be willing to give to the government now? Their health care. And they are screaming for it. Those same people bemoaned about Hillary back in the early 90's are now praising her and Obama for having the “guts” to take on the medical and health care industry in order to “give” them health care.

This is not the only thing the Clinton Machine wants to take over. They will not give up until they have gotten what they came to Washington to take. Yes, I said take. Because nobody is giving anything over to them. The Clinton's take. They take by lying to the American people.

The Clinton's take by falsifying the facts. They tell a lie so often that people begin to believe it is true. They steel you freedom by telling you over and over again that they know how best to bring relief to you.

They lie to you by telling you that the mortgage mess is all the fault of greedy bankers. They lie to you by telling you that American oil companies control the price of oil all over the world and that they are gouging you at the gas pump.

They lie to you by telling you that bio fuels such at that made from corn will solve our oil problems. They lie to you by telling you that “Global Warming” will kill billions of people in 30 years if we don't do something about it today. Yes Carvil said Billions of people will die in 30 to 40 years if we don't stop GW today.

They lie to you by telling you over and over again that only the government can handle the massive health care crisis even though the government has made a mess of it with Medicare, Medicaid and the VA. But they lie to you and tell you that your health care will be different.

They lie to you by telling you that terrorism is our fault and that George Bush started the whole thing. They lie to you by telling you that 9/11 was President G Bush II's fault not Bill Clinton's. They keep the lie machine in action 365 days in a year. This year they have an extra day to keep that machine in action.

They lie to you by telling you that this President is the biggest threat to the Constitution in our history all the while ignoring their own agenda that takes your rights away. Ignoring two World Wars that if we lost would mean the total elimination of our way of life. Ignoring the fact that the old Soviet Union had a goal of eliminating the United States of America.

They lie to us every chance they get. The sad part is that Americans are beginning to believe the lies. No my friends, the Clinton Machine never gives up. It has done more to advance the cause of Liberals in the past 15 years than any other Democrat or Liberal ever has. They have a powerful machine that runs like clockwork and the press and now the American people are falling for the lies. They spout off sound bites as gospel.

The greatest threat to our freedom and liberty continues to be the Clinton Liberal Machine. Even is she does not occupy the White House this go around, do not ever count her or him out. They will not give up until they beat you and me down, twist our arms until we say uncle. Uncle Billary Sam.

Wind Farms are Environmentalist Worst Nightmare

Al Gore tells scares us about Global Warming via his movie full of lies called and Inconvenient Truth. Should be titled a Convenient Lie. But I digress. Basically, what Mr. Gore and his liberal environmentalist wackos tell us is that oil and other fossil fuels are bad. They are bad for man, bad for animals, bad for the weather, bad for mother earth period.

So why is it that Al Gore has a huge monthly electric bill for his mansion? Again I digress. The big question is, when we come up with ways to reduce or replace our oil consumption to produce power, why is it those same environmentalist wackos who stand in the way?

Case in point here is in Massachusetts. You have a company called Cape Wind that wants to build a wind farm. Yes, I said a wind farm. Now what is a wind farm you must be asking. It is a field of giant modern windmills that produce clean electricity from the wind. Obviously the wind is a renewable and clean source of energy.

Windmills have a nearly zero carbon foot print. The only pollution that a windmill produces is when it is manufactured. But now that we have a lot of these windmills in operation all across the globe, it is safe to say they can be produced with power generated from these windmills.

Cape Wind wants to put up a field of windmills in the Nantucket Sound. There are also proposals to build wind farms in Buzzards Bay and other areas off the coast of Mass including in sanctuaries. But of course there are those who don't want the wind farms simply because they think they are ugly or they may even kill birds.

These people have formed anti wind mill organizations to keep wind mills from being built. These are the same people who say we need to reduce our dependency on oil. Well, this wind farm was proposed a long time ago. This company is still trying to get these clean energy producing factories up and running.

Why is it that they (Cape Wind) is trying so hard? Because it is now profitable and viable. I have always said when something can be profitable more and more people will want to improve it and make it better and more available. But now that this once hippie and off the grid technology has gone mainstream, it is no longer fashionable for those who cloak themselves in self righteous environmentalism.

If the masses can use something that was once only used by off the grid hippies then it can no longer be any good and it must be opposed at all cost. No matter what good to humanity or the planet this thing is. If the masses can use it and a profit can be made on it, then they will oppose it.

Are these the people you want dictating energy or any other policy? Talk about hypocrites. Al Gore burns electricity to the tune of over $30,000 a year and still gets a Nobel Prize for his work of fiction on Global Warming.

I think you would do well to just jut a few windmills on your own property. But wait, I am sure an environmentalist wacko neighbor will go to court to prevent you from being good steward of your property and the earth.

Al Gore may be sued over Global Warming film

This is one of those 'why didn't someone think of this before' kind of things. It seems that the founder of the Weather Channel (John Coleman) and a Meteorologist is doing something thinking of doing something that should have been done long ago.

Mr. Coleman thinks that Al Gore should be sued over Global Warming. Citizen Sugar is reporting that the founder of the Weather Channel and a Meteorologist thinks that Al Gore should be be sued over the damage he and his cohorts have caused.

Now I happen to like this approach. It would serve the left and the alarmist well to have to prove their theories and to have them stop making such claims like 'a majority of scientist believe that global warming caused by man exist'. This is a bunch of bunk. A majority of scientist do NOT believe that global warming exist.

In fact, whenever a sound and prominent scientist questions or debunks global warming, they are threatened and the media jumps down their throats. Even the once conservative Weather Channel is now a liberal outpost. In fact the Weather Channel’s Heidi Cullen has called for Meteorologist who disagree with the Global Warming theory to lose their license. How is that keeping things open and true to science?

This is not how science proves it theories, by blasting those who disagree with one point of view. Besides this is not a simple disagreement. These scientist have legitimate scientific data to show that global climate change being caused by man is bunk. They have data to show that global warming is nothing more than junk science.

Even the usually liberal British High Court ruled that Al Gores move 'An Inconvenient Truth' was full of misleading statements and ordered that any public school in England that showed this film must point out the lies, inaccuracies and false science.

This is not something minor that should just be shrugged off. Lets face it, environmental alarmist are causing havoc with economies of the world with their demands and proposed laws. The Kyoto treaty was just such an economic disaster especially since global warming is not a proven theory.

Of course you have those that say we should not wait till it is too late to act. Then again should we spend so much time, money and effort on something that is false and will never happen? Of course not. In fact, this type of thing has been argued to have killed people.

The point is that global warming is not real. The earth has always gone through weather cycles and we also know the sun has a huge impact on our weather and climate as a whole. In fact the sun spot activity right now is the highest it has been in 8000 years. We know for a fact that sun spot activity has a direct and an indirect affect on our climate. So what are we going to do about the sun then?

Besides we also know that the earth has been warmer in the past than it is now and it has also been colder in the past than it is now. Remember, man has only had the ability to affect our climate less than 150 years. Being of sound logic, I find it hard to believe that we could adversely affect or effect or world wide climate in such a short period of time and at such a drastic level.

The earth can and has adapted to lots of things in its history and it will continue to do so. Of course man can not go on just polluting because it will affect us directly but to think that in the next 20, 50 or 100 years we will change the climate of the globe so drastically that we will all die is ludicrous and the liberals know it.

I have to say that I am happy that the pilots of the B-2 Stealth Bomber that crashed this week end are alive and healthy. Our freedom took a small hit when one of only 21 of these marvels of technology went down.

The military says those magnificent birds cost a cool 1.2 billion US dollars each. That means the total fleet cost a very cool 25 billion to build. Yes a very expensive aircraft fleet but money well spent. In fact we should probably build more of them. In fact we should build more stealth fighter jets and maybe even stealth rockets.

Lets face it the cost of freedom is very high. It cost a lot in blood and money. If you think for one moment that we would survive as a nation with a week military, then I would suggest you look at every other nation with a weak military. Most of them have changed governments many times since our nations founding.

We have a special place in history for being a steady and reliable and amazingly enough we have had over 40 bloodless changes of power. And despite what the Liberals call President George W Bush, there will be another bloodless change of power next January. Amazing.

And all of this brought to you by the men and women who fly, drive, sail and use the amazing and sometimes expensive equipment that protect our nation and our liberty.

Global warming or global cooling or is it man made global climate change? Now even I am confused. Anyway, it seems that Sir. Richard Branson has a first for the record books. His Virgin Atlantic Airlines has just flown the first commercial jetliner fueled by bio diesel

Now, we all know that bio fuels are not the answer to our energy problems (not that we have energy problems in the first place) and our climate pollution problems. However, they claim that bio fuels will solve some of our energy and pollution problems. Bio fuel emits less pollution than regular jet fuel.

This is all well and good except for the fact that bio fuel takes away from people fuel. What is people fuel? It is commonly referred to as food. Bio fuel is made from different kinds of edible food products such as corn, wheat, coconut and other food stuffs and food staples. Even sugar cane can produce bio fuel.

But that is just the tip of the ice burg with the problems of bio fuel. The main problem is the reason we are traveling down the bio fuel road to begin with. It seems that those in the know are now confused about this as well.

This is evidenced by a recent AP story about this historic event. Although it is not about the fuel itself, it was about global warming or global cooling. Well here is an excerpt from the story, you decide.

Aircraft engines cause noise pollution and emit gases and particulates that reduce air quality and contribute to global warming and global dimming, where dust and ash from natural and industrial sources block the sun to create a cooling effect.

So my question is, if jet aircraft can cause both global warming and global dimming which, in the end produces global cooling, then should we not start flying these things around the globe in strategic places? I mean should we not fly air craft in areas that are too hot so it can give them some relief?

How can you get hotter and cooler at the same time unless you are sitting in an air conditioned car in Arizona? Trust me on this folks. These people are going to be coming after you wallets and they are going to push for laws that limit or eliminate your freedom and liberties. They will do this all in the name of “saving the planet when they don't even have any logical or conclusive evidence that man is the cause of any climate change taking place on our globe.

Battle in Iraq, a position paper

The War in Iraq.

First we need to get one thing straight. It is not the “War” in Iraq. That is like saying it was the War of the Bulge. That is wrong because it misses the big picture. It is the “Battle” of Iraq. Its the War on Terror.

The main stream press has made this battle seem like a stand alone war. That misses the big picture. Iraq is a part of the whole war on terror. Even the White House mentions it wrongly on numerous occasions.

If you notice we don't call it the War in Afghanistan. The main stream press calls it a conflict or battle. Why then do they make a distinction with Iraq? Simple, its because the left does not want you, the general public, to see the correlation between Iraq and the war on terror.

The left fails to tell you about how much a ruthless dictator Saddam Hussein was. They forget to mention that this man killed thousands of his own people using weapons of mass destruction. They forget to tell you about how Saddam sponsored terrorism. They forget to tell you that Saddam offered to pay the families of suicide bombers in Israel. They forget to tell you that Saddam ignored nearly all of the United Nations resolutions that he agreed to at the end of Desert Storm.

You also hear the Democrat presidential candidates talk about pulling out of Iraq. They talk about how they would “end the War in Iraq”. The problem is that they know there is no war there. Its a battle within the war on terror. They also know that they cannot pull all troops out of there any time soon or they will create a vacuum that would be filled by just about every radical Islamist in the world.

They also fail to tell the American people that pulling out of Iraq does not mean pulling all troops out of the Middle East.

Here is the truth about the War on Terror and the Middle East. We, the USA, cannot pull out of those nations in the middle east. No President will pull out all troops out of Iraq when they take office and for good reason. They also know that the threat to the American people here and abroad remains great and that pulling out as the radicals demand, would in no way reduce the danger to our nation and its citizens abroad.

Look at Spain. They pulled out yet still suffer attacks from Islamist. England has announced its pullout and reduced its troops to the bear minimum yet they still are targets for attacks. This is not a war for oil. We can see that by the price at the pump and in our home heating oil tanks. We have fuel bills that are the highest they have ever been. Hardly a war for oil.

This is not a touchy featly thing that will just go away because we want the world to love us again. The United States is loved the world over by the people of the world. Yes world governments may not like us so much but that is for a number of reasons including just plain old jealousy. The people of the world still risk life and limb to get into this country legally and illegally. You don't find so many people trying to get into any other nation as much or as often as they do in the USA.

In short, there is no pull out in the near future for our troops. It is not the USA that needs to work to be liked. It is the radicals that need to accept our right to live on this planet in peace and if they do not accept that basic fact, we should respond in a way that they understand even if that means occupation of some other nations.
This is a world wide threat. No nation is safe so long as these radicals roam free to reek havoc on innocent people. As long as our armed forces engage the enemy on their turf, the chance of them being able to successfully hit us on our own soil is less.

That is what this War on Terror is all about. Our safety. Indeed, its about our very survival. Simple. Logical. The right thing to do for you and your children.

Global Warming/Cooling/Change

The Environment – Global Warming.

Most of us older than say 15 or so probably can remember days when the snow came down heavy and snowbanks were so high you could sled down them. We can remember snowbanks so high that you probably could not see across the street from your living room window. We can remember blizzards that knocked out power for days and shut down schools for days.

We can remember when we had a white Christmas and a we can also remember when Halloween was so cold that most of us wore long john thermals under our costumes.

Yea those were the good old cold days. The days before Global Warming. The days when record lows were recorded often. Oh wait. Doesn't that sound just like the past five years?

Yes it does. In fact as I write this, the Mid West has some 1 million residents without power due to ice and snow storms. Much of the Norther United States will see a very white Christmas this year and some pretty hefty if not near record breaking lows is squeezing the heat out of Global Warming enthusiast.

Global Warming is no more absolute science fact as evolution is. (Yes, now you know where I stand on evolution but that is for another post.) In fact there is a lot of real and legitimate science that tells us man is not the cause of global warming and that the earth is not warming up abnormally. In fact parts of the world are getting colder.

We hear a lot about the northern polar caps melting. We hear that Polar Bears are drowning out in the open water because they didn't know that there once frozen solid hunting grounds melted away. What we don't hear about is how the Southern Polar cap is growing. What we don't hear about is how some nations north and south of the equator are experiencing bitter cold snaps. What we don't hear about is penguins in the south are flourishing because their habitat is growing.

None of that fits the mold. Pro global warming scientist conveniently forget to remind us that Greenland at one point in the past when it was discovered and named, was indeed green. Long before man began using fossil fuels.

These scientist fail to remind us that the earth has always had cyclical cycles in weather and temperature. Some 200 years ago, England was in the throws of what we call a mini Ice Age. Charles Dickens wrote some of his best works with a backdrop of London covered in snow. In order for that to happen, the earth had to change its weather patterns. This means that at some point before the Dickens era, England was warm and never saw snow. Did man influence that warm up and cool down? Of course not.

In fact there are so many scientists, climatologist, meteorologist, geologist, etc that do not believe there is any man made or natural global warming it would boggle your mind but you never hear about these prominent and very learned people.

Yes there is an agenda. The agenda is to take your freedom. The agenda is to tell you how to live. The agenda is to punish you for being a prosperous people. The agenda is to take your money. Why else would they be so adamant about an opposing view. After all isn't that what good science is about, looking at theories from all angles?

Of course it is. However, the global warming crowd does not want opposing views to be presented. They even go so far as to try and ostracize those who have opposing views. They often crowd the lecture halls where those on the other side speak and then yell and scream to keep the other view from being heard.

This goes to prove that their position is weak and feeble. Nobody who has a strong and truthful position has to use such tactics in order to keep the other side silent. What do the global disaster believers have to fear if their science is so fool proof and sound?

The point is they have plenty to fear because they know there science is not fool proof nor is it sound. The simple fact is that the sun, our sun, causes our planet to warm and cool depending on its level of activity. There are times when our sun is hotter than usual and there are time when it is cooler than usual. This is directly reflected in the climate of the planet. More activity, as we have no, means warmer temperatures usually in the north. Thus places that we know of as being covered in snow, begin to green up.

The dirty little secret is that when they places do green up and the snow melts away, we discover trails and villages and other human activity from centuries past. This means that these areas were warm at one point which goes to help prove that this current weather pattern is not dire nor is it unique.

In short, yes we humans have polluted. But, we humans are causing global warming. In fact if you Google, science against global warming or anything in that genre, you will get a plethora of sites giving, showing and telling you about information, proven science that disproves global warming.

If I were the leader of a nation, I would not sign onto the global warming band wagon and I would tell the United Nations to go take a hike. A real hike and have them explore the planet and see that man could not possibly be big enough to destroy our environment. But some people think they are big enough to know how you should live and they are fighting to take your money and your freedom so they can do just that. Global Warming is the weapon of choice that some in the media have been swindled into supporting.
