December 7, 1941. A day that should not be forgotten, may have been. The entire world stood still that day. For the year 1941, the news of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, HI spread like wildfire. It was a day when people all over the world actually rejoiced because it forced the United States to enter the war. It caused anti-freedom loving governments across the world to tremble and for good reason.
Admiral Yamamoto of Japan was quoted as saying "I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant." And that giant had tremendous anger. But why did we go to war in the first place?
Was it really just because Japan attacked us? If that were the case then why did we not just go to war with Japan and leave Italy and Germany out of the equation and leave it to the British and French and Russians? Because it was about freedom.
When Japan attacked the USA, they attacked freedom directly at its core. The French had fallen, the Brittish were barely hanging on and without help, there was no way the Communist Soviets were going to be able to hold back Hitler even with the famed Russian winters as an ally.
We don't celebrate December 7 anymore. Not as a holiday but as a rememberance. A day which President Roosevelt said would live in infamy. Forever. Never to be forgotten. But as we head into the year 2009 with a new President in the form of Barack Obama, we have changed as a nation.
We are a nation that has begun to turn its back on freedom and liberty. This is evident by the numerous and huge financial bailouts of various business sectors. It is evident by the election of polititians that want to take away your freedom of choice in the areas of health care, personal choice (smoking, drinking, etc) educational choices and the list goes on. We find that many things are being defined as privaledges instead of rights, such as driving a car or truck.
We see polititians subverting the will of the people by voting for things that even the people they are elected to represent don't want such as the financial bailout. We see serious and massive corruption in all levels of our government as polititian after politician is arrested and even jailed. You don't think this is serious business?
Out of the last 8 Governors of the state of IL, 4 have been arrested for corruption and 3 have or are serving time in jail right now. That is 50%. 50%! One could have argued that Rhode Island was the most corrupt state in the union but to see that 4 out of 8 IL Gov have fallen due to greed, lust, corruption makes RI look like Disney land.
How can we as a nation forget what happened on December 7, 1941? It took the blood and lives of millions of men to let us keep our freedom. Is this what they fought for in the jungles, in the open fields, in the ruined cities and towns, in the cold of winter and the heat of summer, in the deserts of Africa? No, this is not what they served and gave all for. This is what they faught against.
Who would of thought that in less than a century we would be the very nation that we once wared against. How must all of those brave men and women be turning in their graves right now. How they must be looking down upon on us from heaven with tears of sadness. How they would have stayed home if they knew this is what they would have given all for.
Why do I bother with this? Because I beleive in the USA. I believe in freedom and liberty. I believe in the project that our Founding Fathers started over 225 years ago. I believe that man has the God given right to live free, to govern themselvs and to have the choices to raise their family in a manor in which they deem to be best. But everywhere I turn I see Americans voting their freedom away.
It saddens me to see this. We cannot be little children having temper tantrums and vote for someone we know is going to take away our freedom just because we are mad at the party or person who is currently in office. This is how we got Barack Obama. Now we will have to brace for even more freedom erosion. Now we must live with more government regulation and rules and laws.
You do understand that right now, you probably break a law every single day of your life and you may not even know it. That is becuase you elect people who feel they know whats best for you and they impose laws on you and many times you don't even know those laws exist until some over zealouse young police officer pulls you over and hands you a ticket or worse yet, arrest you.
This is not what my grandfathers, grand uncles, went to war for. We are fast becoming a people enslaved by its government, but what makes this different from most government style changes is that this one is bloodless. There is no military take over or blood thirsty civil war. No, this change comes at the ballot box and we the citizens are just voting our rights away.
This December, this holiday season, think about the freedom you have to celebrate how you see fit. Now think about the fact that some day, and that some day could be sooner than you think, you may not have the right or the freedom to celebrate as you see fit. At that time, it will be too late to vote for someone who will protect your freedom and liberty because they very well may all be dead.
Think about it this holiday. Say a prayer for the men and women in harms way protecting your liberty and freedom. Set aside some time to remember what this nation was meant to be. And vow that in the year 2009 you will stand up for your rights, freedom and liberty. Stand up for the USA. You wont be sorry and your family and posterity will thank you as well. Don't ever let December 7, 1941, a day which sould live in infomy, be forgotten.

Did we forget?

The Demons Post 9/11
When September 11, 2001 happened, everyone, including Congress, was united on what needed to be done. We needed to secure our borders. We needed to make those responsible pay. We needed to go to war if needed to take down the evil doers that perpetrated such an evil and heinous act.
The pacifist were nullified to dark corners of society and we were sure we would not hear from them again. They hid because they knew that no matter how much we tried to be peaceful there were going to be some on this planet who just wanted us, Americans, to die by the bus load. Or in this case, by the air plane load.
Those pacifist were pretty smart though. They knew, like our President, George W Bush, that this was going to be a very long and drawn out affair. The pacifist knew that at some point they could come out of the shadows and emerge from the dark and dank places to begin their rhetoric again. They knew that if they began whispering how bad this war was, that those in power and media would hear them and begin to repeat their stupidity but not in a whisper, but with booming voices.
The pacifist knew they would not only rewrite history in such short order but they would make sure that those who were their angels, their heroes, would again come back to the fold and degrade and denigrate all the great men and women of our armed forces. The cry “Baby Killer” would once again be heard across this land.
The pacifist did not care about freedom. They do not care about liberty as long as they have the liberty to spew their ilk from sea to shining sea and from border to border. They do not care that history has shown that the pacifist manifesto does not work, never has worked and never will work. They will not stop preaching their nonsense as long as they have breath in their lungs.
Forget the fact that the enemy, who is not the President, or their government, will stop at nothing to kill them as well as everyone else in our nation. They still go about their daily life believing in a lie. Even when they are faced with death, they seem to blame those of us who would die to protect them instead of the person who is actually pointing a weapon of death at them. They see the world as have and have nots. And those who have only have because they took away from the have nots.
Pacifist are preaching to us now in this electoral cycle. We see them in the form of Senator Hillary Clinton and Senator Barack Obama. They claim that President Bush lied to us to force us to go to war. They ignore the fact that the information that President Bush had was the same information that President Bill Clinton had. In fact they even fail to mention the fact that Bill Clinton himself said he had the same information that George Bush had. After all, he gave George the information so it could not have been a lie.
But that does not stop the pacifist from rewriting history. They say the lie. They get others in power to repeat the lie because those in power think they will gain more power by saying the lie. Then they echo what those in power are saying as if to give the lie more credence. Before you know it, everyday people with short memories, believe the lie is true.
And now we have candidates that say that George Bush lied to us in order to go to war. Forget the facts. Forget who provided the “lies” to George Bush. Forget that they were all for us going to war over 9.11.01. No, the pacifist don't care about the lives that have been lost or the lives that will be lost because of their actions. All they see is an evil empire trying to hang on to global power.
They don't see that we are in a fight for our very way of life. They don't see that if we are defeated they will lose their ability and privilege to spew their propaganda because the new power will see to it that they all die or are at the very least silenced by the death of all they hold dear.
We as a nation, cannot let a rewrite of history happen right under our very noses. We cannot stand by while the pacifist and power grabbers try to rewrite history that is less than a decade old. We as a people cannot bury our heads in meaningless drivel such as Hollywood and celebrity gossip and let a few who wish to imprison your thoughts and mold your children in their image.
Our nation was born out of blood. Our nation kept its freedom by blood. Our nation has suffered because of our blood line. We are the chosen people of the planet to bring freedom and protect freedom for all of those who want it, cherish it, and are willing to die for it.
We are that beacon of hope, that bright light in a sea of darkness that guides people from all over the globe, to our shores. These same people dream every night about how to better their lives. They dream of how to better their children's lives. They dream of a country they can call their own, where they have a voice in their government, a right to rule by self determination.
Yet the pacifist and power grabbers would deny these people this right. They would attack those who actually are willing to go to war to secure that right for everyone. They demonise, hate, spit upon and rewrite their heroic deed into stories of shame and despair.
All the while, we the people, who have gathered to form a more perfect union, bury our heads in the sand and let the few rewrite what we know to be true. We let them twist the truth into something sour and evil. How do I know this? Just look at the people we are voting for this election cycle. That is all I need to know. That is all the proof I need.
You want me to be wrong? Then vote for those who will not stand for rewriting history, who will not lie and tell us we are to blame for being attacked. Vote for those who will stand up for our Constitution, our Founding Fathers and our way of life. Vote for freedom, not entrapment or slavery or dependency. Vote for freedom.

Battle in Iraq, a position paper
The War in Iraq.
First we need to get one thing straight. It is not the “War” in Iraq. That is like saying it was the War of the Bulge. That is wrong because it misses the big picture. It is the “Battle” of Iraq. Its the War on Terror.
The main stream press has made this battle seem like a stand alone war. That misses the big picture. Iraq is a part of the whole war on terror. Even the White House mentions it wrongly on numerous occasions.
If you notice we don't call it the War in Afghanistan. The main stream press calls it a conflict or battle. Why then do they make a distinction with Iraq? Simple, its because the left does not want you, the general public, to see the correlation between Iraq and the war on terror.
The left fails to tell you about how much a ruthless dictator Saddam Hussein was. They forget to mention that this man killed thousands of his own people using weapons of mass destruction. They forget to tell you about how Saddam sponsored terrorism. They forget to tell you that Saddam offered to pay the families of suicide bombers in Israel. They forget to tell you that Saddam ignored nearly all of the United Nations resolutions that he agreed to at the end of Desert Storm.
You also hear the Democrat presidential candidates talk about pulling out of Iraq. They talk about how they would “end the War in Iraq”. The problem is that they know there is no war there. Its a battle within the war on terror. They also know that they cannot pull all troops out of there any time soon or they will create a vacuum that would be filled by just about every radical Islamist in the world.
They also fail to tell the American people that pulling out of Iraq does not mean pulling all troops out of the Middle East.
Here is the truth about the War on Terror and the Middle East. We, the USA, cannot pull out of those nations in the middle east. No President will pull out all troops out of Iraq when they take office and for good reason. They also know that the threat to the American people here and abroad remains great and that pulling out as the radicals demand, would in no way reduce the danger to our nation and its citizens abroad.
Look at Spain. They pulled out yet still suffer attacks from Islamist. England has announced its pullout and reduced its troops to the bear minimum yet they still are targets for attacks. This is not a war for oil. We can see that by the price at the pump and in our home heating oil tanks. We have fuel bills that are the highest they have ever been. Hardly a war for oil.
This is not a touchy featly thing that will just go away because we want the world to love us again. The United States is loved the world over by the people of the world. Yes world governments may not like us so much but that is for a number of reasons including just plain old jealousy. The people of the world still risk life and limb to get into this country legally and illegally. You don't find so many people trying to get into any other nation as much or as often as they do in the USA.
In short, there is no pull out in the near future for our troops. It is not the USA that needs to work to be liked. It is the radicals that need to accept our right to live on this planet in peace and if they do not accept that basic fact, we should respond in a way that they understand even if that means occupation of some other nations.
This is a world wide threat. No nation is safe so long as these radicals roam free to reek havoc on innocent people. As long as our armed forces engage the enemy on their turf, the chance of them being able to successfully hit us on our own soil is less.
That is what this War on Terror is all about. Our safety. Indeed, its about our very survival. Simple. Logical. The right thing to do for you and your children.
Stumble It!
